Man Steals $600 Worth Of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups


If you ask an unidentified northern Ohio man how he likes to eat his Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups he will probably tell you with a five-finger discount.

Police in northern Ohio are reporting that a store thief escaped from a local gas station on various occasions after stealing $400 to $600 in peanut buttery goodness right in front of the prying eyes of store employees.

According to gas station workers the man typically arrives just after midnight, grabs a few Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and then quickly leaves the store before police can be called and arrive on location.

The unidentified man’s routine changed when he entered the store on Tuesday in the early morning hours. Instead of his late night snack he stole a bag of chips along with his peanut butter cups. The man was dressed in black clothing with a hooded sweatshirt over his head.

When police arrived a store clerk said he tried to stop the thief who spun around and fled on foot.

The Reese’s Butter Cup Bandit is approximately 18-years-old, black and wearing all black clothing. Store employees say he is approximately 5 feet 10 inches and 140 pounds.

The Sunoco gas station location where the thefts have occurred does contain a security camera however police have not yet obtained that footage.

No employees have been injured by the man who they now call the “Reese Cup bandit.”

Forget what you would do for Klondike bar, what would you do for a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup? Surely not store theft.
