Catherine and Sean Lowe Explain Why They Joined ‘Marriage Boot Camp’

When fans heard that Sean and Catherine Lowe were going to be on the upcoming season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, no one could figure out why they would join this show. They have always seemed to have a perfect marriage, and they would not help with their marriage. People actually got the chance to talk to the couple and get the details. Every couple has a few issues in their marriage even if the world can’t see it. Catherine explains why they would join a show to help with their marriage.

Sean and Catherine Lowe met and fell in love on The Bachelor, and they have already been married for two years. Catherine is now revealing that what fans will see on the show is different than what they have seen from this couple in the past.

“It’ll be very different from what you’ve seen us do before. I think every couple need to improve on their communication, their trust.”

Sean even convinced Catherine to join the show and explained the reason they should do it.

“I was hesitant going in. The very first day of filming, I was like ‘Get me out of here.’ Because we’re thrown into a house full of people that are very loud and love conflict and that is totally not us. Catherine, she kind of convinced me to stay because she really had a heart for the people. I kind of jumped on that bandwagon a couple days later.”

Sean and Catherine Lowe are not the types to get into conflict at all. Sean does say that their time on the show was well worth it, though. Catherine and Sean Lowe seem to think that they made the right decision joining the show, and obviously this couple is one that stays together after the show is over. Catherine wants fans to know why they joined the cast.

“I think [fans] are going to be confused as to why we’re on the show. Again, we’re going to just continue to work on our relationship. No matter how great it is, you have to continue to get better. I hope they see that.”

The filming of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars only took two weeks. Sean Lowe said that it was a hard two weeks for them, but this was not a long show. Sean felt very uncomfortable while on the show, but he said that he would lean on Catherine to help him through and that alone helped to strengthen their relationship. This couple has always appeared to have it together, though, and are very close. They live in Dallas and stay out of the spotlight most of the time.

As People shared, this new season of the show should be pretty wild. Sean and Catherine Lowe are joined by a lot of other celebrities with bigger marriage problems, and that are going to be full of drama. Mama June Shannon and Sugar Bear will be on the show together, where she is confronted about cheating allegations. This season also includes Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’s Benzino and Althea Heart, Basketball Wives: LA’s Sunday Carter, plus Cedric and Sarah Oliver and Jimmy “Inkman” Coney from the Bad Girls Club. Judge Lynn Toler of Divorce Court also joins the cast of the show to help with their problems.
