Woman Caught With Loaded Gun In Her Vagina Pleads Guilty
A Tennessee woman found with a loaded gun hidden in her vagina when she was being booked has pleaded guilty to several criminal charges.
Pursuant to a plea bargain, Dallas Archer, 21, will serve three years behind bars on several charges, including one felony count of bringing contraband into a prison setting, after a hearing in Sullivan County district court.
Archer was reportedly originally pulled over by cops for speeding, at which point officers determined that she was driving on a suspended license.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, during a routine pat-down at the Kingsport, Tenn., lockup, in April 2014, a female corrections officer “located an unknown item in her crotch,” according to the police report. The corrections officer and a female cop then took the woman, then 19, into the bathroom, where they discovered a.22 caliber, five-shot mini revolver in her vagina.
The loaded handgun in question was North American Arms 22 LR revolver, about four inches long, which had been stolen during a car break-in in 2013, according to law enforcement computer records.
“Archer… has also copped to vandalism and failure to appear charges, the sentences for which will be served consecutively following the completion of the custodial term for the contraband count. She will also have to pay about $1000 in fines…In addition to the prison contraband count, Archer was initially hit with firearms possession and stolen property charges. But a grand jury later voted not to indict her on the latter two felonies,” the Smoking Gun explained.
The court system has yet to return the gun to the man, but presumably that will occur in due course given that the case is now resolved.
Archer’s attorney indicated that his client would also get three years of community service for other several charges including pot possession and driving without insurance, Inside Edition detailed. A term of probation of two years is also included in the court sentence.
As to why she was caught with a firearm in her body cavity, the lawyer admitted that “I have never got an answer for that. I don’t know. I think it’s just because she was high.”
The woman “will spend three years in prison for taking the Sex Pistols literally,” the New York Daily News quipped.
Last December, a 34-year-old woman arrested for stolen credit cards and on other charges allegedly took a handgun hidden in her vagina into the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque, N.M. Fortunately, another inmate found the weapon in the bathroom trash and alerted Bernalillo County sheriff’s deputies at the jail. The suspect allegedly admitted to cops that the gun was hidden in her waistband, but she didn’t reveal it to booking officers because she was trying to avoid additional legal trouble.
Separately, as the Inquisitr also previously reported, the ex-wife of Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Cormac McCarthy allegedly threatened her boyfriend in January 2014 with a gun that she pulled out of her vagina after they reportedly argued about space aliens. She was charged with aggravated assault. That incident coincidentally also occurred in New Mexico.
