Mindy Mann Treated Like ‘A Sister’ By Gwen Stefani, Then Committed The Ultimate Betrayal?

Mindy Mann is the woman at the center of the Gwen Stefani/Gavin Rossdale scandal.

According to Us Weekly, Mindy Mann, the couple’s former nanny, engaged in a three-year affair with the Bush frontman, which was reportedly exposed in February of this year, months prior to the couple’s divorce. At the time, the source explained that the Voice star had discovered incriminating text messages between her then-husband and Mindy Man, who was caring for their three children, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 20 months.

While Rossdale initially denied the relationship, claiming the messages between himself and Mindy Mann were nothing more than harmless flirtation, despite one allegedly including plans to meet for sex, Mindy Mann was quickly fired, and the couple’s downward spiral began. Still, it wasn’t until months later that Rossdale finally admitted to his relationship with Mindy Mann that they finally parted ways.

The admission “completely devastated her,” a source told Us Weekly. “She was mortified, livid, and embarrassed.”

A short time after the magazine’s report was published — on the cover of Us Weekly nonetheless — a second report, via Hollywood Life on November 17, surfaced. In the report, it was revealed Mindy Mann was not only hired to help the famous family, but she was also treated like a sister by the Voice star.

“Gwen always made herself available” to Mindy Mann, the source revealed. “Gwen wasn’t just [Mindy Mann]’s employer, she was her role model and mentor. [She] took [Mindy Mann] under her wings and was like a big sister. She was incredibly giving with her time and energy and when [Mindy Mann] needed advice with her clothing business, [she] always made herself available.”

“In addition to giving [Mindy Mann] money to start up her clothing business, Gwen gave her support, time and input. She was even there for [Mindy Mann] when she complained of boyfriend problems. [She] was totally blindsided and betrayed, not only by Gavin but by this young nanny who took advantage of [her] kindness and generosity.”

As Radar Online revealed earlier this week, the Voice star reportedly allowed Mindy Mann to borrow $50,000 from her in order to jump-start a new business for children. The company, Pint Size Kids, is an indoor playground and appears to still be in operation in Sherman Oaks, California, which is about 15 minutes away from Mindy Mann’s home in Toluca Lake, California.

While Stefani felt it would be a good investment to help Mindy Mann, the idea quickly backfired in her face, according to Radar Online’s source, who claims Mindy Mann’s affair with Rossdale began a short time later.

“It was around the time that Pint Size Kids opened that Gavin and [Mindy Mann] became romantically involved. Gavin would often bring his kids there to take enrichment classes. Things got very intense with Gavin and [Mindy Mann] very quickly.”

Although Mindy Mann seemed to disappear from the spotlight around the time news broke of her alleged romance with the singer, she has since returned to Los Angeles. According to an E! News report on November 16, the former nanny was just recently spotted in her Toluca Lake neighborhood.

Also in the report, an E! News source noted there have been photographers stationed outside of Mindy Mann’s home in recent days, which has been a bit overwhelming to her.

Several days after Us Weekly’s report was published, the three parties involved, including Mindy Mann, have remained silent in regard to their alleged affair.
