‘Dancing With The Stars’ Spoilers: Week 10 Semi-Finals Bring Trio Dances, 3 Dances Per Pair

Monday night’s episode of Dancing with the Stars brings the Week 10 episode where the semi-finalists battle for the chance to take home the Season 20 mirror-ball trophy. There has been a lot of chaos in the past week with DWTS, and fans are anxious to know what is going to happen on this November 16 show. What Dancing with the Stars spoilers are available for this one?

Viewers watched last week as Tamar Braxton headed to the hospital and made it back to the stage with just moments to spare for her duo dance. She avoided elimination, and Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas were sent home instead. However, Tamar soon learned that her health issues were more serious than she anticipated, and she needed to withdraw from DWTS.

Many Dancing with the Stars fans immediately rallied to get Alexa and Mark back on the show. However, the show decided not to go that route. Heading into Monday night’s Season 20 semi-finals, there will be just four couples dancing instead of five. Each pair was also thrown a third dance to learn to make up for Tamar and Val Chmerkovskiy having to leave, details People.

Dancing with the Stars spoilers from PureDWTS detail that in terms of the individual dances on Monday night, Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess will tango to the song “Scars” by Alesso, featuring Ryan Tedder. Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough will use Sia’s song “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” for a salsa while Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold will waltz to “America the Beautiful.”

Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson will do a contemporary to the One Direction song “Drag Me Down.” A post on the show’s Instagram page shows that they are incorporating some tricks that are a bit reminiscent of a dance Derek Hough and Amy Purdy did in their season. As fans may recall, Derek and Amy incorporated a hanging rope in their freestyle, and viewers will be curious to see where Witney and Carlos head with their variation of this trick in Monday’s show.

Monday night’s episode of DWTS features the trio dances as well. These are always amazing performances, and viewers will see some fan favorite pros back in the mix for this one. Dancing with the Stars spoilers detail that Peta Murgatroyd will join Nick and Sharna for their trio, and Emma Slater is with Alek and Lindsay for their dance.

Mark Ballas is back to dance with Bindi and Derek, and Karina Smirnoff joins Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson for their trio. It sounds as if Emma, Alek, and Lindsay will be doing the Argentine tango, Bindi, Derek, and Mark have jazz and Karina, Carlos, and Witney may be doing a Charleston.

When it comes to the third dance in Monday’s DWTS semi-finals, each couple will be facing a dance-off. Dancing with the Stars spoilers detail that Bindi and Derek will go against Nick and Sharna in a samba. Alek and Carlos will do battle with a cha-cha.

Not everybody is happy about how this dance-off is being put together. While it does seem fair that the show has paired Bindi against Nick and Alek against Carlos, many have pointed out that neither Alek nor Bindi have done a full dance of their assigned style, whereas Nick and Carlos both have.

The big question is regarding whether anybody will be eliminated at the end of Monday’s show. The Dancing with the Stars producers have not revealed anything in this regard yet, and may not until the very end of Monday’s show. There is a lot of speculation that nobody will be eliminated in this Week 10 show, but that someone may go at the beginning of next Monday’s finale.

If someone is eliminated during the Week 10 show, who is most at risk? The number crunching at PureDWTS breaks it down. Many would say that Alek seems most at risk, but Carlos is not in the clear either. Some suspect that despite some weaker scores, Skarlatos may manage to avoid being the next one eliminated on DWTS on the basis of strong viewer voting.

Bindi seems almost certain to be safe, and it would take a lot to see Nick eliminated this week as well. Quite a few fans have been rooting for a final three of Bindi, Nick, and Alek for a while now, but some would argue that the show seems determined to keep Carlos in the mix of things.

Which couple will excel in these Season 20 semi-finals? Will someone be eliminated in Week 10 or will all four couples stick around until next Monday’s show? Only a few more dances remain before DWTS fans get to see Bindi Irwin, Nick Carter, Alek Skarlatos, or Carlos PenaVega take home the Mirror Ball Trophy. Who do you think will win Dancing with the Stars this fall?
