Robert Pattinson ‘Smitten’ By FKA Twigs Despite Split Rumors, Couple Reunites For Date Night

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have been swarmed with breakup reports since announcing their decision to delay their wedding until next year, but it looks like Pattinson and fiancée Twigs are putting the split rumors to rest with a fun date night out on Thursday.

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have been keeping a low profile since news of their engagement made headlines in April, prompting a flurry of breakup rumors to plague Robert and FKA Twigs’ relationship despite the couple’s outwardly happy appearance.

Despite the rumors, Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs looked very much in love while attending the 8^th Annual GO Campaign Gala on November 12 with sources in attendance at the event noting that Robert looked “smitten” with FKA Twigs while the duo mingled alongside other famous guests, Us Weekly reported.

For the event, FKA Twigs donned an elegant white jumpsuit while Twilight actor Robert Pattinson opted for a traditional black suit and tie for the lavish event. Twigs and Pattinson were spotted sitting next to Robert’s longtime friend, Katy Perry, who looked stylish in a black and purple dress complete with dark lipstick and a chic bob.

A witness in attendance at last night’s event revealed to the publication that Robert Pattinson was “transfixed” on fiancée FKA Twigs during the duration of the event and that Pattinson looked “totally smitten” by his future wife.

In addition, the insider explained that Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs were holding hands underneath the table and were spotted whispering to each other on several occasions.

During the event, Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry both bid on prizes that included a $8,500 Peruvian adventure trip for two for Robert and a Mexican dinner for 50 friends worth $5,500 for Katy.

Later in the evening, Robert Pattinson looked on as FKA Twigs treated guests to an intimate acoustic performance while opting to go barefoot on stage.

While Robert Pattinson was spotted supporting fiancée Twigs during the MOBO Awards last week, Pattinson opted not to walk the red carpet with FKA Twigs for the event, further fueling rumors that Robert and Twigs’ swift engagement may be coming to an end.

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs reportedly got engaged earlier this year after six months of dating, with rapper T-Pain accidentally confirming news of Rob and FKA’s engagement in an interview on April 1.

Soon after news of Rob and Twigs’ engagement made headlines, sources close to the happy couple revealed to E! News that FKA Twigs’ hopes for a summer 2015 wedding were diminished by Pattinson’s busy filming schedule.

The source admitted that while Rob and Twigs have been apart for work lately, the duo is doing “just fine” and still has plans to get married in the future.

“There isn’t a rush to get married. Fall plans turned into winter plans and now there are no specific plans, but they still plan on getting married.”

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs’ latest public appearance comes on the heels of reports that suggest Pattinson is unhappy in his engagement to FKA Twigs and has plans to call off their wedding.

Gossip Cop previously busted a rumor that claimed Robert Pattinson is battling with depression due to his relationship with FKA Twigs, noting sources close to both Pattinson and Twigs have confirmed that the duo still has plans to get married next year despite the incessant split rumors.

While neither Robert Pattinson nor FKA Twigs have spoken out about their wedding plans, it appears the duo is making a point to be seen together in order to further silence breakup reports.
