Josh Duggar Hopes New Baby Can Halt Anna’s Divorce: Did Duggars Visit Sex Addict Son, Or Help Josh Exit Rehab Early?
Josh Duggar probably never planned to spend the last part of 2015 surrounded by scandal and dark rumors. The oldest son of the Duggar family, one of the co-stars of 19 Kids And Counting, has been embroiled in backlash since news surfaced that he had molested five underage girls, several of whom were his sisters. TLC canceled the lucrative family show, and the scandals continued with Josh’s accounts on the Ashley Madison site for infidelity, his confession that he had cheated on wife Anna Duggar, and his revelation that he is addicted to porn.
Since all those confessions, Josh has been in a rehab center that is Bible-based and focuses on “curing” sex addiction. But, has the 27-year-old left rehab early, or did a mysterious sighting of the Duggar family plane signify a visit by his family?
Entertainment Tonight reports Josh Duggar may have left his sex addiction rehab facility. A plane that contained patriarch Jim Bob Duggar, two additional passengers, and one of Duggar’s sons was seen at a Rockford, Illinois airport. The location is close to Josh’s rehab, and the plane is the identical to the one detected at the same airport when Duggar initially entered his faith-based treatment center.
One Duggar family insider reveled to Entertainment Tonight that the 19 Kids And Counting clan have been attempting to keep their personal life under the radar, describing a lack of communication and distrust.
“Nobody communicates and it’s weird and tough. I think they just don’t really trust a lot of people right now, so they want to keep things on a ‘need-to-know’ basis….[They are] tired of being hushed and tired of being left in the dark…The level of expectation in this family is too high, it is narrow-minded.”
Josh initially moved into rehab in August following his serial scandals of molesting underage girls, pornography addiction, cheating on Anna, and use of the Ashley Madison infidelity site. The Duggar family made the announcement about his move to rehab on their own site.
“Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center. For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change. In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren.”
Is Josh still in rehab? And how does Anna feel about the husband of their four children, which include Meredith at just 3 months, Marcus at 2, Michael, who is 4, and Mackynzie, the oldest at 6?
“It’s tough to say how Anna is,” the source told ET. “I know how she says she is, but don’t know how she is deep down. She doesn’t talk about that.”
That visit was supposed to be kept quiet, but Josh’s younger brother, John David, owns a plane that has become easy to spot and hence it was observed making the journey again after dropping off the 27-year-old for the start of his stay at rehab.
Whether Josh is still at the center, taking a break for Thanksgiving, or permanently checked out, the oldest Duggar son is said to be in a state of anxiety about whether Anna will leave him. To persuade his wife to stay, Josh may be looking to a fifth baby as the key to maintaining his marriage, according to Hollywood Life.
“Josh is so worried that Anna will leave him that he is now convinced she will stay if he can persuade her they should have another child together,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “He’s been begging her not to leave him and that they were meant to have another baby.”
But, that source also said Anna has no desire to have baby number five. After being forced into the role of a single parent because of her husband’s sex addiction, getting pregnant again isn’t her idea of a marriage solution, the insider revealed to Hollywood Life.
