NFL Picks Week 10: Experts Pick Arizona Cardinals Over Seattle Seahawks
NFL picks for Week 10 have most CBS experts picking against the Seattle Seahawks. The Week 10 NFL picks for the Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks game actually favor the home team to lose at CenturyLink Field. The analysts at CBS Sports have picked the Cardinals to win the road game and take a bigger lead in the NFC West standings. If the prediction turns out to be correct, the Seahawks would drop to 4-5 in the NFL standings and likely be put in a very difficult position to make the postseason.
So why are the Arizona Cardinals picked to win this important game? The team comes into Week 10 with the 4th-best passing offense and 9th-best rushing offense in the NFL. The Cardinals are really good on defense as well, ranking 4th in rushing defense and 7th in passing defense.
Despite a slow start, the Seattle Seahawks now rank among the NFL leaders as well, ranking 3rd in rushing offense. The passing game has been better, though, with the Seahawks ranking 28th in the NFL. On defense, the Seahawks rank 2nd in passing defense and 9th in rushing defense, possibly predicting that this November 15 game could be really low-scoring.
The Week 10 NFL picks actually get started with a Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets game on Thursday, November 12. The teams are pretty evenly matched, possibly giving a good reason why the CBS analysts were evenly split on this prediction. Despite the Jets playing at home, half of the experts still picked the Bills to win this AFC East battle.
In a typical week, there are normally a few games where the experts pick unanimously in favor of one team. In the Week 10 NFL picks, that only takes place in one game. In the Monday, November 16 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Texans, the CBS experts predict that the Bengals will improve to 9-0 on the season. It should be a good game on ESPN, but the Bengals have been really good in the 2015 NFL season.
If these predictions are correct, there will soon be three 9-0 teams, as the CBS experts picked the New England Patriots to beat the New York Giants and the Carolina Panthers to beat the Tennessee Titans. Other Week 10 NFL picks have the Philadelphia Eagles favored to beat the Miami Dolphins, the St. Louis Rams over the Chicago Bears, the Baltimore Ravens over the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the New Orleans Saints over the Washington Redskins. Another game has the analysts evenly split, as they couldn’t come to a decision on the Dallas Cowboys vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on Sunday. The teams are evenly matched on paper, possibly making it one of the more intriguing match-ups of the weekend.
In regard to the NFL standings, there is no more important game this weekend than the Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks. It will help to decide which team wins the NFC West this season and if Arizona truly is ready to step up and dethrone the two-time defending NFC champions.
