Kourtney Kardashian Speaks Of Anxiety After Couples Counseling With Scott Disick

Kourtney Kardashian may have split from her troubled ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick, several months ago, but still, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, appears to be struggling to find peace. On November 9, just a short time after she and Disick reportedly began seeking couples counseling in rehab, Kourtney Kardashian took to her Twitter account, where she revealed her anxiety had led her to the gym.

Kourtney Kardashian has been working on her fitness a lot harder this year that she has in the past, and that may be due to the anxiety caused by her relationship troubles with Disick. Earlier this year, Disick surfaced in incriminating photos, which featured him on vacation in Europe getting cozy with his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli. Although Disick had displayed bad behavior in the past, the photos of him and Bartoli sent Kourtney Kardashian over the edge, and she quickly called it quits on their nine-year relationship.

In the weeks that followed their split, Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend seemed to take his partying to the next level, and at one point, he was seen having what looked like a good time with an 18-year-old model in New York City. In other photos, Disick appeared to be looking a bit run down.

Then, when it came time to resume filming on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Disick was confronted by Kourtney Kardashian and her family, including her sister Khloe, about his drinking habits and possible substance abuse. And following the intervention, Disick entered a treatment facility in Malibu, California. Since then, Kourtney Kardashian has visited her former boyfriend in rehab, along with their three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, and according to a new report, she and Disick have been attending secret couples therapy sessions.

“[Kourney Kardashian] went to his rehab this weekend with the kids and Kris because she agreed to attend therapy sessions with just her and Scott,” a source told Radar Online on November 10. “During the hour-long session, Scott told [Kourtney Kardashian] that his addiction is 100 percent behind his cheating, and that he would never do anything like that if he was sober.”

Although a reunion between Kourtney Kardashian and Disick is far from certain, the source claimed the reality star was beginning to warm up to Disick now that he’s made some progress.

“[Kourtney Kardashian] is really proud of how much he’s grown since getting sober this time around and all she wants is for him to get better so that he can be there for his children.”

Just weeks ago, a separate report claimed Kourtney Kardashian wasn’t thinking about a reconciliation with Disick at all, and was instead focused on her future as a single woman in Los Angeles.

“People are sort of expecting that she will take him back,” a source told Hollywood Life at the end of last month, “but [Kourtney Kardashian] has nowhere near decided that.” In fact, claimed the source, Kourtney Kardashian has been “talking about being single,” and spoken to those close to her about “what a new future could look like.”

Since splitting from Disick, Kourtney Kardashian has been spotted out and about in Los Angeles with her sisters, and, on occasion, Justin Bieber.

As the site continued, Kourtney Kardashian taking Disick back “is by no means a slam dunk for Scott the way it has been in the past.”
