Scheana Marie Fights Back Against Eating Disorder Claims After 15-Pound Weight Loss

Scheana Marie shared a clip from Life & Style magazine with fans last week, and right away, the Vanderpump Rules star was met with criticism. In the clip, which Scheana Marie has since removed from her Instagram page, it was revealed that she had lost 15 pounds. Ever since the Instagram post, Scheana Marie has been dealing with the backlash from fans online, who feel she was skinny enough before her weight loss.

In response to the criticism and allegations of an eating disorder, Scheana Marie shared the following tweet.

Prior to Scheana Marie's tweet, she had slammed fans for being mean to her on social media, claiming she doesn't care what they say about her, but that she appreciated them watching Vanderpump Rules. On Instagram, along with a photo of herself in a grey dress, Scheana Marie continued to defend herself against her online critics on November 8.
"Too thin. Too fat. Neither is an okay statement to make or opinion to give. Women need to embrace and build up other women. Negativity gets you nowhere. Spread positive energy and good vibes. Be healthy! You'll be a lot happier in life. #HappySunday #PumpRules Thank you @alilevinedesign and @gojane for this awesome dress!"
Since the trailer clip for Vanderpump Rules Season Four was released, Scheana Marie has faced a number of online rumors. In addition to the eating disorder claims, Scheana Marie has dealt with allegations of her impending divorce from husband, Mike Shay. During the trailer, Scheana Marie and Shay were experiencing marital troubles, which appeared to be the result of his excessive drinking.

Scheana Marie and Shay wed during the third season of Vanderpump Rules, which was filmed in the summer of last year, but this year, their time on the show was much more dramatic. In one scene, Scheana Marie was seen breaking down, telling a friend Shay has been drinking a lot, and during a second scene, Shay broke down during a conversation with his friends, including Tom Sandoval, who suggested he was addicted to pills. Scheana Marie's boss and co-star, Lisa Vanderpump, even got in on the couple's troubles, claiming Shay needed to get "clean."

Despite Scheana Marie and Mike Shay's season four marital issues, the couple has gotten through their rough patch and judging by the photos and comments they've shared on their social media pages, they are doing just fine in their marriage. At the end of last month, Scheana Marie shared a series of photos of herself and her husband celebrating Halloween as a couple, with Scheana Marie dressed as Jasmine, and Shay dressed as Jafar.

As for how Scheana Marie and Shay worked through their troubles, fans will have to wait and see as the fourth season of Vanderpump Rules plays out.

Also in the series' fourth season, fans will see the return of Stassi Schroeder, who announced her Bravo exit in May, and the engagement of Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz, who became engaged in July of this year. They will also get to meet SUR Lounge's newest employee, Lala Kent, who stirs up controversy with her relationship with James Kennedy, the former boyfriend of Kristen Doute.
