Kourtney Kardashian Struggling And ‘Overwhelmed’ As A Single Parent; Planning To Get Back Together With Scott Disick After Rehab?

Kourtney Kardashian is reportedly struggling to parent her three children alone.

Last month, Kourtney Kardashian’s former boyfriend, Scott Disick, entered treatment in Malibu, California for issues of substance abuse, leaving her to care for their three young kids, Mason, Penelope, and Reign, as a single parent.

Kourtney Kardashian is “feeling overwhelmed” by the children after Disick “basically disappeared” from their lives to tend to his personal struggles, a source told Radar Online on November 6, adding that even before he entered treatment, Disick wasn’t exactly the best father.

“[Kourtney Kardashian] is a great mom, but she is the only parent in the picture right now and it is a lot of work to take care of them all and still film the show and deal with their appointments. When Scott was living there he definitely was a help, and now that he isn’t there she shoulders all the responsibility.”

As if Kourtney Kardashian’s three children weren’t a big enough responsibility for the reality star, she’s often seen with her sister Kim’s daughter, North West, as well. As Kim supported their younger sister, Khloe, as she tended to the needs of her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, Kourtney Kardashian took on extra time with North, which surely made things even more overwhelming.

Last month, after what was believed to have been a family intervention by Kim, Kris Jenner, and Kourtney Kardashian, Disick entered treatment. The intervention scene was filmed for Keeping Up With The Kardashians and seen in the season 11 trailer, but at this point, it is unclear whether or not Disick’s current rehab stint, as well as his visits with Kourtney Kardashian and their children, will be included.

Radar Online‘s source went on to reveal Kourtney Kardashian was struggling to stick with her plans to split from Disick. While Kourtney Kardashian called it quits with Disick over the summer after seeing photos of him getting cozy with his ex-girlfriend while on vacation in Europe, the source said there may be room for a future reconciliation once Disick completes treatment.

“[Kourtney Kardashian] misses the way things were before. She was happy when she lived with Scott because he took care of the kids. When he is there he is a great parent, there is no doubt about that… If Scott ever started acting like his old self then [Kourtney Kardashian] would totally consider getting back together with him. She misses him being an equal parent and not just a part-time parent.”

For the last couple of years, Kourtney Kardashian’s nine-year relationship with Disick has been seen on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and its spin-offs, including Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons and Kourtney & Kim Take New York City. And while there have certainly been a lot of downs for the couple, including Disick’s hard partying in The Hamptons, which resulted in him being admitted to a Connecticut facility, they have also enjoyed happy times, including the births of their children and the purchase of their Calabasas home.

As Kourtney Kardashian tends to her parenting duties with her and Disick’s three children, he continues to be treated at Malibu’s Cliffside rehab facility, and his exit date remains unknown. Meanwhile, Disick’s longtime friend and Kourtney Kardashian’s brother-in-law, Lamar Odom, is under medical care in Los Angeles after suffering an alleged drug overdose last month.
