Lamar Odom: Khloe Tricked Me Into Stopping Divorce, Kardashians Used Me For Ratings — Reports
Lamar Odom was hit by a new emotional trauma this weekend, even as he continues his struggle to regain his devastated health. The stricken former NBA star has told friends that he feels “tricked” by estranged wife Khloe Kardashian into signing papers calling off their ongoing divorce proceedings, a new reports said on Monday, and that after the 31-year-old reality star left Odom’s bedside to be with latest flame — and Odom’s former NBA rival — James Harden, he regrets not letting the divorce go through.
According to a widely cited report on the celebrity gossip site Radar Online, when Khloe Kardashian returned to Odom’s hospital room at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, after a weeklong absence during which she visited the 26-year-old Harden and attended at least one of his Houston Rockets NBA basketball games, there was considerable tension between the former couple.
“The visit was short and brief because Lamar is very angry with Khloe for several reasons. Mainly, he was upset that she left the previous weekend to go to Houston to spend time with her boyfriend, James Harden,” a Radar Online source told the site. “James is a very tense subject between Khloe and Lamar.”

Odom fell into a coma after an apparent drug overdose on October 13, suffered during a visit to Love Ranch, one of the 19 prostitution businesses that operate legally in Nevada under state laws there. Though the couple filed for divorce in 2013 after nearly four years of marriage, Khloe Kardashian quickly traveled to attend to Odom at at hosptal in Las Vegas.
Khloe Kardashian, it soon became clear, had legal authority to make medical decisions for the incapacitated Odom, because their divorce — almost two years after it was filed — had never been finalized and she was was still, under the law, his wife.
About a week after Odom’s collapse, Khloe Kardashian asked a judge to halt the ongoing divorce proceedings, a decision which Lamar Odom — though he remained in a debilitated state and confined to a hospital bed — somehow co-signed.
But now, according to the reports, Odom believes that Khloe Kardashian lied to him, making promises of a reconciliation in their marriage when, in fact, she never intended to discontinue her affair with Harden.
Other recent reports, however, paint a rosier picture of the state of the Odom-Kardashian union. Odom has been removed from the intensive care unit at Cedars Sinai and plans to celebrate his 36th birthday on November 6 with his wife, Khloe, at his side, according to separate reports.
“36 is a big birthday for Lamar, and Khloe will be celebrating with him, birthday hat, cake and all!” an “insider” told the competing celebrity news site, Hollywood Life. “It’s an incredibly special birthday for him too – given the circumstances!”
In fact, according to the Hollywood Life report, Odom actually told Khloe that he did not want her to buy him a birthday gift because “calling off their divorce and sticking by his side amid his health crisis was the greatest gift of all.”
The Hollywood Life report is a far cry from the Radar report published on the same day, which characterized Odom as angry not only at his wife, Khloe, but at Kardashian family matriarch Kris Kardashian-Jenner, as well, because Odom believes that his mother-in-law has orchestrated Khloe’s actions to generate interest in the family’s franchise reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“His anger is also aimed at Kris Jenner, who he seems to think told Khloe to take the drastic move to control the situation,” the Radar Online source claimed. “It’s all about ratings for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
Khloe Kardsahian is also reportedly upset with Lamar Odom for resuming contact with his alleged Las Vegas drug supplier, a man she refers to as “a low-life scumbag.”
