No Doubt Reveals Title For First Album In Over A Decade

Over the years the Orange County band No Doubt has been through a lot since their first mainstream success in 1995 with their hit record “Tragic Kingdom”. The band has seen much success over the years, including some snafus, a public break up between two band members, and a hiatus for lead singer Gwen Stefani to embark on a solo career.

The 2012 release which is the sixth forthcoming album from the eclectic rock group will be called “Push and Shove”. The album will follow the band’s 2001 “Rock Steady”, which took radio by storm. The release of their latest album is said to drop September 25, and the band is in the process of filming the first music video later on in the week with frequent collaborator Sophie Muller, who directed videos for hits like “Don’t Speak” and “Sunday Morning” for the group.

In the past year No Doubt announced that they would get back into the studio to record their new album. This included exclusive teases of the recording sessions letting their fans see what went behind the new material that hardcore No Doubt enthusiasts have been waiting for since their last release in 2001.

It’s been a slow journey for the band who reunited in 2008 and announced that they would tour in 2009 with a brand new album in the same year. Although the band toured in 2009, a brand new album as promised wasn’t released. Gwen Stefani went on to explain “Push and Shove’s” derailment as “life getting in the way.”
