WWE News: Vince McMahon Reportedly To Blame For Roman Reigns Issues, Still Set To Main Event ‘WrestleMania 32’

When it comes to Roman Reigns, we know what we’re getting. We are getting a guy who has extreme talent but is like a piece of coal right now. He is by no means the type of thing we have with a John Cena or Randy Orton, but he could be formed into a diamond eventually if given the time to grow. However, WWE has been trying to pawn him off to us as a diamond. While precious, the fans have wanted gold in people like Dean Ambrose more often than his friend Reigns.

They also want the gold that is Seth Rollins, which WWE is giving but exposing so much that he is starting to look more bronze than gold to the naked eye. Roman Reigns is a great young star, and WWE has realized that his overexposure last year ended up costing him. Now they plan to start pushing him simply out of need if nothing more. The crowd likes him more, and the internet seems to be responding better to him, but there are a number of things missing.

According to Daily Wrestling News, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon realizes recent promos for Reigns have not been good. They have not landed well at all for fans and people backstage notice this being an issue as well. The problem this time is that Vinny Mac has no one to blame but himself, as he came up with the promos for Roman Reigns, not WWE Creative.

Reigns Rollins

Apparently Vince McMahon felt putting Reigns out with his promos recently would gain sympathy from WWE fans, but this flopped big time.

Fans did love what he was able to do this past week on WWE RAW, in what many consider the best RAW match of the year, the main event fatal four way. The idea is that fans seem to gravitate toward stars who are great in the ring now more than ever, and the match this past week was great and ended well with the winner coming off great at the end. Everyone won out of it, but Reigns more than any other as he looked like the diamond WWE has been trying to pass off.

WWE has been planning to put Reigns back into the main event of WrestleMania again, this time with him winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title. However, there are now discussions of him winning the title at WWE Survivor Series where he is set to take on Seth Rollins for the championship in the believed main event. If he were to win the title then, it would set up a lot of different things for WWE both now and into WrestleMania 32.

Roman Brock

Not only would the main event be changed up a good bit, but we very well could have Reigns go into the event with the championship. There are some who speculate that Rollins will find a way to win against Reigns at Survivor Series, whether it is by interference or cheating. If this were to occur, Rollins could go into the main event of WrestleMania 32 as champion still. This would be the first year-long reign since CM Punk if it were to occur.

That means Survivor Series very well could be one of the most important events of the year, and it could very well shape the rest of WWE’s year leading up to WrestleMania 32. At the end of the day however, regardless of what WWE does with the winner of this match, Roman Reigns still needs to come off better to people. That means WWE might end up pushing for him to do his own promos instead of them being written for him. However, it is uncertain if Reigns can do that as of now.
