Lizzie Rovsek Defends Vicki Gunvalson, Comments On Her Drama With Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge, And Meghan Edmonds

Although Lizzie Rovsek didn’t take part in The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 reunion show, that doesn’t meant that she doesn’t have plenty to say about what she has witnessed this past season. In an interview with BravoTV.com, posted on Thursday, Lizzie, who was a recurring housewife this season, gave her thoughts on this season’s drama, including Vicki Gunvalson’s drama with Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge, and Meghan King Edmonds.

On one episode earlier in the season, Vicki and Meghan got into a verbal fight during a lunch hosted by Heather Dubrow. Vicki, angry that Meghan was questioning Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnoses, screamed at Meghan to not get involved and to stop questioning her and Brooks. Meghan countered that she has a lot of questions because she cares that Brooks gets the right treatment, since she and her family have personally been affected by cancer, a reference to Jim Edmonds’ ex-wife, LeAnn, who has since passed from cancer. The argument got so bad that Vicki threatened to take Meghan down and left the table in tears. Vicki yelled out that she never wants to see Meghan ever again.

Alone at the table with Meghan, Lizzie counseled her to back off. When Meghan told Lizzie that Vicki was being a “b**ch” to her, Lizzie admitted that Vicki can be tough. When Meghan shrugged after being told that Vicki was crying, Lizzie pointed out that Meghan doesn’t actually really care.

“See, you don’t care. That’s the problem!”

Lizzie made clear in her subsequent blog posts that she doesn’t think that Meghan actually cares about Vicki and Brooks, but simply wants to prove them wrong.

While Meghan Edmonds initially explained that her deep interest in Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnoses came from a place of caring, she later made no qualms about telling everyone that she believes that both Brooks and Vicki Gunvalson are lying and that she’s intent on exposing their lies.

In her latest BravoTV.com blog post, Meghan said that Vicki constantly lies.

“I’m just going to jump right in and say that I am STILL amazed with how much Vicki exaggerates her stories – so much that they become full blown lies! It’s so awkward to watch her get put on the spot and try to weasel her way out of her lies.”

Last week, Meghan tweeted that Brooks’ recent interview with E! News, during which he maintained that he has cancer and that Vicki’s daughter, Briana Culberson, is lying about him, was full of lies. Meghan even called Brooks “Crooks.”

While Lizzie disagrees with Meghan’s behavior, she is actually friends with her. In her interview, Lizzie said that it was nice to see a softer side of Meghan at the reunion show.

“It was nice to see Meghan more reserved and a little softer at the reunion. That is the Meghan I initially met; that is the girl I became friends with… I have to appreciate her boldness, but it was nice to see the sweeter side to her. That’s the girl I know.”

As for whether she thought it was right of Vicki to comment on Jim and Meghan’s marriage, Lizzie points out that Vicki was just fighting back.

“I don’t necessarily agree with repeating this story, but Vicki was taking a lot of heat from Meghan. Meghan tried to expose Vicki as a con artist all season. Who wouldn’t be annoyed at being investigated behind your back by someone that barely knows you?… It seems like all season everyone can say whatever they want, no matter how hurtful or inappropriate it may seem; but as soon as Vicki opens her mouth everyone is so quick to be appalled and shocked. Come on!”

In one episode, Vicki told Tamra Judge that Jim had told Brooks that out of then four-months long marriage to Meghan, two were “challenging.” Yet, on Part 2 of the reunion show, Vicki actually admitted that she took some liberties with retelling what Jim had supposedly told Brooks. She said that Brooks had only told her that Jim had said that he and Meghan went through a couple of situations.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jim Edmonds bashed Vicki for commenting on his marriage. He posted nasty tweets about her prior to and following the airing of Part 2 of the reunion show.

Lizzie also told BravoTV.com that perhaps Vicki’s comments about Tamra Judge’s child custody battle was done in retaliation. On Part 2 of the reunion show, Heather Dubrow revealed that during Eddie and Tamra’s sex party, Vicki, upon seeing Tamra wearing a strap-on, laughingly commented that it’s no wonder that Tamra is having her kids taken away from her.

“Tamra and Vicki have a long history. I have heard Vicki defend Tamra in her custody battle many many times — I’m not sure what that was all about. I know that Vicki feels that somehow Tamra is behind the dispelling of Brooks’ cancer and perhaps that was in retaliation?”

Lizzie also believes that Vicki and Shannon Beador will be friends again. Lizzie pointed out that Shannon and Tamra were at odds last season, but now they’re good friends.

Part 3 of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 reunion show airs next Monday. Meghan King Edmonds tweeted on Wednesday that she’ll definitely return for another season if given the chance.

Lizzie Rovsek’s future with the show, however, seems to be up in the air. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, she admitted prior to the filming of the reunion show that she wasn’t invited to take part in it.
