‘Star Wars’ Rumors Continue To Fly As Princess Leia First Appearance Revealed, Linked To Poe Dameron

New Star Wars rumors continue to emerge as photos about the movie are leaked and a new trailer is released. The latest rumors concern Princess Leia, a role reprised by actress Carrie Fisher, who starred in the original Star Wars movies.

According to the Latin Post, the site Making Star Wars released a new update on the first appearance of Princess Leia. She first appears when Brance steps in to deliver a message from Po Dameron. Po stole a Special Ops TIE Fighter and later crashed on the planet Jakku. Princess Leia must then send an emissary to Takodana in order to intervene in the story’s events. The spoiler also revealed what happened to Poe Dameron after the crash and created the assumption that a rescue party will be sent to rescue him.

Another spoiler came from a photo and revealed that a Storm Trooper battle takes place. Although it is unclear where the battle takes place, it is most likely Takodana, and the Storm Troopers are there to capture Rey.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the third movie trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released and reveals more of the plot line. It features Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Chewbacca, as well as many of the new characters who are part of the story.

Rumors have abounded as to what will happen in the latest story, including the possible death of Han Solo. Other rumors include the return of Hayden Christensen to reprise his role as Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker in Episode 8 of the latest trilogy.

According to HNGN, rumors also surfaced that Princess Leia and Po Dameron’s stories are closely tied together. Dameron is an X-wing pilot for the Resistance. Little else is known about his character, nor has anything been released to explain his part in the story other than as a member of the resistance.

It was revealed that Leia’s first appearance is tied to Poe’s actions after he steals a TIE fighter and crashes on Jakku, where it is rumored that a village massacre takes place. What happens to Po on Jakku sets the stage for his return to the Black Squadron to fight the First Order Troops on Takodana.

Although Princess Leia was part of the original resistance, it is unclear as to whether or not she is in a command position in the current resistance. Some of the rumors have hinted that the reason Po reaches out to her is that they may be related to each other through her adoptive parents.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the most anticipated movie of the season and premieres on December 18. It is expected to break all ticket sales records. The cast of the original trilogy, which included Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), return in a plot that takes place 30 years later after the Empire has been destroyed. Although Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine are gone, factions within the Empire are still fighting for control, and the resistance is fighting for freedom.

Other characters set to return to Star Wars include Han Solo’s beloved friend Chewbacca as well as droids R2-D2 and C3PO. New characters include a young girl named Rey (Daisy Ridley), resistance fighter Po Dameron (Oscar Isaac), and Finn (John Boyega), a former Storm Trooper turned resistance fighter. The antagonist, Kylo Ren, is portrayed by Adam Driver, although some fans have speculated the real villain in the film is Luke Skywalker.
