Rihanna may be keeping tight-lipped regarding news of her eighth studio album, ANTI, but it looks like Rihanna's rumored boyfriend, Travis Scott, is giving fans a much-needed update on when they can expect to see Rihanna's ANTI album finally drop in stores.
Rihanna made a surprise appearance at CBS Radio's "We Can Survive" benefit for breast cancer awareness on Saturday, treating unsuspecting fans to a whirlwind performance of her greatest hits while also belting out a few of her recently released tracks, as well.
Despite the exciting performance, Rihanna fans took to Twitter to express their displeasure over Rihanna not teasing at least one new, unreleased track from ANTI in attempt to hype fans up over ANTI's impending release.
Similarly, some of Rihanna's fans also pointed out that the lack of new music or news regarding Rihanna's ANTI album could be an indication that ANTI may drop later than anticipated.
While Rihanna has yet to confirm a release date for ANTI, Rihanna has historically dropped her past four albums towards the end of November, leaving Rihanna fans to anticipate a surprise drop for ANTI over the next four weeks.
Despite the speculation, Rihanna's fans seemed to sarcastically poke fun at the ANTI release rumors by implying that the lack of news from Rihanna regarding ANTI could signal a much later release date for the album.
One fan writes, "The way Rihanna is going, she'll probably release #ANTI then go back to sleep," while another shades Rihanna for not teasing any new music during her performance at the Hollywood Bowl with, "Rihanna performs #BBHMM at Hollywood Bowl and reminds us all why nobody is interested in #ANTI anymore."
While Rihanna may neglect to provide fans with any updates regarding ANTI's release, Rihanna's rumored beau Travis Scott seemed to drop a hint about how soon fans can expect to see Rihanna's album in stores.
In Travis Scott's Instagram bio, the rapper not only encourages fans to go out and buy his new album, Rodeo, but also teases that Rihanna's ANTI album is on the horizon.
"RODEO OUT NOW…ANTI SOONER," Travis Scott's Instagram bio reads, seemingly teasing a release date for Rihanna and her ANTI album in the near future.
Travis Scott also shared a photo of Rihanna from her performance on Saturday night, captioning the behind-the-scenes shot of Rihanna with, "An-ti."
While some fans interpreted Travis' excitement over Rihanna's new album to be an indication that Scott and Rihanna may have teamed up for a collaborative single on ANTI, other fans continue to speculate that Rihanna and Travis Scott are secretly an item.
Rihanna and Travis Scott made headlines in September after they posed together for a sultry shot for Rihanna's "Fenty" campaign with Puma before furthering the dating reports after a source close to Rihanna dished to E! News that Rihanna and Scott are "getting pretty serious."
While Rihanna indirectly shot down the Travis Scott dating rumors on Instagram before revealing in her Vanity Fair interview that she hasn't dated anyone since Chris Brown, the duo were photographed kissing during Rihanna's NYFW party earlier this year.
As for how Rihanna is choosing to drop hints about the progress of ANTI, Rihanna recently unveiled the artwork for ANTI's cover in an exclusive L.A.-based event before telling journalists that she has officially completed work on ANTI after months of recording with producer Kanye West.
Similarly, rumors have also suggested that Rihanna's role as a key adviser on this season of NBC's The Voice could signal Rihanna's attempt to slowly return to the spotlight in anticipation of ANTI's impending release.
What do you think of Travis Scott's hint about Rihanna's new album, ANTI? Do you think we'll see Rihanna drop ANTI in November?
