Caitlyn Jenner is Fine With Popular Halloween Costume After Her Vanity Fair Cover

A very popular Halloween costume this year is to dress like Caitlyn Jenner when she came out on the cover of Vanity Fair. People are buying the corset that she wore on her Vanity Fair cover when coming out along with a wig that looks like her hair. You might think that Caitlyn would be offended by this costume, but the reality is something totally different. Today shared that Jenner is actually totally okay with this costume and thinks it is kind of cool that people want to dress like her. She is actually not upset about this at all, but other people in the trans community feel differently. Caitlyn spoke to Matt Lauer about her thoughts on this costume that could be considered controversial by some.

“I’m in on the joke. No, I don’t think it’s offensive at all. I know the community does, and they’ve gotten a lot of criticism for doing it. I think it’s great.”

Caitlyn Jenner does have one problem with the costume though. She feels like it is not very good quality and Jenner thinks that the companies could have made a better higher quality costume for them. Cailtyn says that life is too short and she just can’t get upset about this kind of thing. Life is short and Jenner is just enjoying it right now. Cailtyn does want everyone to have the chance to look as good as she did on the cover. Jenner went on to explain.

“I mean, that was a serious bustier on the cover of Vanity Fair. I mean at least get some good clothes. You’ve got to enjoy life. Life’s too short. I can’t get too upset about that type of stuff.”

The Frisky did share that some retailers are actually removing the Caitlyn Jenner costume from their stores because of feeling like it should be a huge issue. The transsexual community was very upset about this costume and didn’t really want to see men dressed up like Cailtyn Jenner. Transsexuals do not like to be considered mand dressing up in women’s clothing because they actually feel like a woman who is inside the body of a man. Several people went to Wholesale Halloween Costumes and Anytime Costumes and they left bad reviews on the costume. They were not talking bad about the Cailtyn Jenner costume, but instead were actually discussing how they feel like it is a transphobic costume and not something that should be worn. Caitlyn Jenner herself is just fine with the costume though. These 2 companies have since removed the Jenner costume from their web sites, but you can still find it other places. The Caitlyn Jenner costume is something you still have plenty of time to get if you want to wear it next weekend to your Halloween party and show off to your friends.
