North Charleston Woman Bit Off A Teen’s Tongue When He Tried To Rape Her

A South Carolina teen bit off more than he could chew this past Friday when the 33-year-old woman he tried to rape bit off his tongue.

As reported by Live 5 News, at 6:30 a.m. on Friday morning (October 16), a North Charleston woman heard a knock on her door and went to answer it. When she got to the door, there was no one there so she went back to bed. This happened twice more, and finally the victim decided to walk outside to see who kept knocking.

When she walked outside, she saw her attacker standing on the side of her house holding a knife with a white handle to his chest. She immediately ran back inside, but the teen followed and forced himself into the house. He then proceeded to tackle her and punch her, and gave her a warning about cooperating.

“Stop fighting and I won’t hurt you.”

After that, the teen attempting rape asked the victim where her bedroom was. The woman said he then picked her up, and brought her to the bedroom to rape her.

In the report, the victim said that her attacker attempted to take off her shorts, but she wasn’t going to let that happen. Rather than letting him rape her, the victim kicked the teen in the groin as he attempted to take her shorts off. The attacker got angry and told the woman that he was going to kill her for what she did.

“Now you have to die!”

The teen continued his attempt at rape and even tried to force his tongue into the victim’s mouth. When he did this, the woman bit the attacker’s tongue completely off. She told police that she “bit his tongue as hard as she could until she heard it snap.”

After biting off her attacker’s tongue, the teen who had been attempting to rape her immediately stopped and got off the bed. The woman seized the opportunity and ran to her car. When she went through the kitchen, she still had the tongue in her mouth. She said that that’s where she threw the tongue on the ground. As the victim ran outside, she said the man trying to rape her was still in her doorway while she was getting in her car to flee.

The victim drove to a business to call the police, as she had left her phone at home.

According to News 2, the police responded to a call at 7:08 a.m. from a woman at a gas station who said a man tried to rape her, but she had bitten his tongue off.

Police arrived to the gas station where the woman was, and said that a bruise and swelling around her right eye could be seen along with scratches on her left knee and the top of her left foot.

Charleston authorities followed the victim to her house where the attempted rape took place. Police found blood on the floor of the rape victim’s bedroom, and the attacker’s tongue was found and placed in a bag with ice.

Police also found the knife with the white handle in the woman’s yard.

The suspect of the attempted rape was found at a Waffle House after his mother had called 911 because of her son “not having a tongue and needing medical assistance.”

The attacker’s lack of tongue betrayed him. Later identified as 16-year-old Antoine Tremane Miller, the attempted rape warranted the teen to be tried as an adult.

Miller was charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct, first degree assault and battery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and first degree kidnapping.

For the assault, battery, and possession charges, Miller received a bond of $500,000, but did not receive a bond for the rest of the charges.

For the woman Miller attempted to rape, who will surely suffer more from this attack, it’s a bittersweet victory that she was able to take his tongue from him.
