Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized After Car Crash With 18-Wheeler


Lindsay Lohan was taken to the hospital today after a car crash with an 18-wheeler near Santa Monica Beach in California. The extent of Lohan’s injuries are not known at this time but it is believed that the actress was not seriously injured in the crash.

E! Online reports that an ambulance was called to the scene but Lohan was not taken to the hospital in the ambulance. Her assistant, who was in the passenger seat, was taken to the hospital via ambulance.

TMZ reports that Lohan was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway when she slammed into the back of a semi-truck. Her Porsche was totaled in the accident. The windows were shattered and the bumper fell off the car.

Eyewitnesses said that the actress, as well as her assistant, were bleeding and bruised after the crash. Both Lohan and her assistant were conscious after the crash.

Lohan was driving at the time of the accident but according to the website, the actress claimed that the accident was not her fault and that the truck cut her off.

Lohan is currently filming a TV movie, “Liz & Dick,” which many of her fans are calling her “comeback movie.” Lohan plays Elizabeth Taylor in the new Lifetime movie.
