Bindi Irwin And Derek Hough Nail Week 6 Of ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ What’s Ahead For Week 7?

Fans of Dancing with the Stars saw a perfect performance from Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough on Monday night’s episode, and everybody is dying to see what the duo tackle next. How do Bindi and Derek top their rumba based on the epic Dirty Dancing number? There are some teasers available for the Week 7 dances, and fans cannot wait to see how this comes together.

According to the Dancing with the Stars spoilers from Pure Derek Hough, Bindi and Derek will tackle the Argentine tango for their Week 7 performance. It would seem that their song will be Gerard McMann’s “Cry Little Sister,” familiar to many as the theme from the Lost Boys movie.

Fans are already going crazy over this DWTS spoiler news, as Hough is known for excelling at this genre of dance, and the Argentine tango and Lost Boys theme feel like a great fit for the Halloween-themed week ahead. Of course, this will be a sizable change of pace for Irwin, as so far she has often been able to utilize her positivity and bubbly personality in her performances. This one will definitely challenge her to show viewers a different side of herself.

Week 7 of Dancing with the Stars will also feature the team dances, something fans look forward to seeing every season. According to the DWTS spoilers from PureDWTS, Bindi and Nick Carter are the team captains, and the picks have been made. Though everybody will have to wait until the October 26 episode to see how it came together, it looks like the Season 21 teams are already hard at work getting this next dance ready.

Team Bindi is said to be dancing to the theme song from Ghostbusters, but it doesn’t look like the Team Nick song is known quite yet. Bindi and Derek will be dancing with Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas, Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson as well as Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold. That means Nick and Sharna Burgess’ team includes Hayes Grier and Emma Slater, Andy Grammer and Allison Holker, along with Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy.

Derek Hough’s track record with these team dance competitions is a lengthy and successful one. He has never lost one of these challenges though the two teams did tie in Season 20. That means Team Bindi may well have an edge in Week 7, but seeing another tie wouldn’t necessarily come as a big surprise. Many think that these teams are pretty equal in terms of strengths and they should produce some strong performances.

At this point in this season, there are no celebrities left who are necessarily a big hindrance to a team’s success, as has typically been the case in past seasons. Having Derek, Mark, Witney, and Lindsay together to choreograph should make for a very strong routine. However, Val and Sharna also make a great team, and DWTS fans can’t wait to see what Allison and Emma can bring to the table in this combination.

As stunning as Bindi and Derek’s Week 6 performance was, the two were open about how nervous they were to tackle the iconic dance. Now that they have killed that, with a perfect slate of scores from the judges, they seem energized and ready to tackle whatever comes their way next. After stunning viewers with a tear-inducing “Most Memorable Year’ dance earlier in the season, a great switch-up week and now this Dirty Dancing piece, fans will be anxious to see what they manage to bring to the dance floor next.

Can Bindi and Derek score perfect 10s on their Argentine tango in Week 7? How will the team dances go during this DWTS Halloween week? Dancing with the Stars fans are already buzzing about the likely contenders for the Season 21 finale and many suspect that Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough are the ones to beat. Tune into the Week 7 episode airing on Monday, October 26 to see just how Derek and Bindi do with these next dances.
