Pumpkin Carving With A Knife Is Boring — Use A Henry Rifle Instead! [Video]

A video of a man carving a pumpkin, not with a knife but with a Henry rifle, is going viral online. Not only that, it is so popular that it is ranked among YouTube’s most popular videos trending this week.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, pumpkin carving has always been an activity synonymous with the October holiday of Halloween. Over the years, news on it has been reported usually on the latest pumpkin carving designs. Last year for example, many popular designs were based off of Disney’s hit classic animated film Frozen, hit television show The Walking Dead, and hit movie trilogy The Hunger Games. Prior to that, other unique pumpkin carving designs have manifested throughout the years including “Redneck designs” to more intricate masterpieces made with a Dremel tool. It is possible at times that pumpkin carving can become such an addictive habit, crimes may be committed for it. Why else would 600 pumpkins disappear from a New York farm?

The unique video of pumpkin carving done with a Henry rifle instead of a knife was uploaded on October 16, 2015 by an individual which is assumed to be named Bud on his YouTube channel hickok45. Apparently, the video was a means to “educate the masses” about how to properly and safely carve a pumpkin.

“Again, it’s my feeble attempt to educate the masses about how to properly and safely carve a pumpkin. Word has it that people are still using dangerous, sharp knives to do this. As I always have to point out for some folks, this is not a marksmanship exhibition; it’s just the proper way to carve a pumpkin.”

Now to be fair, the pumpkin carving video uploaded by Bud is just the latest in a series of videos pertaining to pumpkins. In the past, he has uploaded other videos showcasing the famous gourd spotlighted during the month of October through four videos of “methods to kill pumpkins” (in which the first video incorporates the use of many sharp objects, blunt objects, and firearms) and five videos of pumpkin carving with various weapons. Starting with the first video back in 2009 with a Glock 21, Bud shows how to carve a pumpkin with a various firearm every year after. In 2010, he used a Glock 23. In 2011, he used an AK 47. In 2012, he used a Colt 1911. Then in 2013, he used a Desert Eagle. For some reason, a video was not uploaded last year.

Hill
Conservative comments for the video of pumpkin carving with a Henry Rifle claimed such videos would not exist if either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders wins the presidency.

Apparently, the video uploaded by Bud of YouTube channel hickok45 was so popular, it made it on the #PopularOnYouTube list. As of the publication of this article, it is currently the fifth most popular video on YouTube, with over one million views. Over 7,000 people have liked the video, while another 700 people have disliked it. As for those who commented, it eventually became political. For those who are conservative, they claim the video of pumpkin carving with a Henry rifle is “the Most American” thing they have ever seen, claiming if Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton were elected president, such videos by Bud would cease to exist. This is probably more true with Clinton given the fact she made the National Rifle Association (NRA) her number one enemy at the first Democratic Debate.

Despite any political agendas thrown into the mix within the video’s comments, it is evidently clear that Bud scored a hit by presenting an “educational video” that showed the world how to carve a pumpkin with a Henry rifle. Still, it should be noted that Bud was very careful when he made the video. Nobody should attempt such if they have no training or experience with such a gun.
