‘Real Housewives’ Recap & ‘RHOC’ Reunion: Vicki Gunvalson, Brooks Ayers’ Cancer Vs Briana, Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Meghan Edmonds

The Real Housewives of Orange County have been enjoying some real drama this season. With Vicki Gunvalson and her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers heading up the suspense over the does-he-or-doesn’t-he-have cancer controversy, RHOC cast members, including Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, and Meghan Edmonds, have been staging debates worthy of a college debate team. Now, in an episode entitled “Satan Loves Confusion,” Vicki’s daughter Briana Culberson has come to offer her views on the situation, reported Entertainment Weekly.

And in a shift from the focus on Brooks, the 18th episode of the drama-packed Season 10 of the Real Housewives of Orange County went beyond Gunvalson and her ex-boyfriend to show the dynamics of other RHOC stars’ relationships. For Vicki’s daughter Briana and son-in-law Ryan, visiting the Orange County homestead means tension. The young woman who has grown up in front of viewers on RHOC has no hesitation about voicing her feelings that something, to be blunt, stinks in her mom’s home.

“There’s like a musk,” sniffed Briana.

But it’s not just Culberson who’s smelling something weird in the state of affairs in Orange County.

Meghan Edmonds has been attempting to persuade her stepdaughter Heyley to become her BFF, while Tamra Judge wants Meghan to attend her baptism. Edmonds manages to explain in front of the Real Housewives camera why she’s so stellar at step-parenting in her view.

“It’s more important to be a friend to Hayley instead of a mom,” asserted the Real Housewives star. “She needs someone to talk to, and I want that someone to be me.”

Meanwhile, Shannon Beador tries to solve her marital problems with a marriage counselor. David insists that he’s honest, open, and — as Shannon begins weeping — able to put on his no-feelings-or-emotions-showing mask at the drop of a tear.

But then, as Shannon and Tamra meet up with Heather Dubrow, the conversational focus quickly shifts back to Brooks and his cancer claims. Heather has been working with her husband, Terry Dubrow, to sell TV products, and a note that it contains resveratrol gets the gals squawking because that’s what Brooks has claimed he’s using to cure his cancer.

But it’s when Briana lunches with Tamra that the talk really focuses on nailing Brooks’ claims that he has cancer.

Both women feel suspicious, but Vicki’s daughter Briana is an ER nurse who reveals just how much she doubts her mom’s ex-boyfriend’s claims that he has pancreatic cancer.

“When I first heard about Brooks’ cancer and his treatments, things didn’t add up…If you survive [pancreatic cancer], walking around cocktail parties like your s**t don’t stink, I’m calling all my nursing professors because you belong in a textbook.”

So Briana now reveals that after she questioned Brooks, he finally confessed the truth to her, which Culberson kindly defines for the non-medical members of the viewing audience.

“He broke down and told me he had pancreatitis, which is an inflammation of the pancreas caused by alcohol abuse,” clarifies Briana.

On previous episodes, the PET scan has come up and been questioned as to its authenticity in proving that Brooks really has cancer, and Tamra talks with Briana about that issue.

“If he’s lying about this, I’ll kill him,” Briana warns bluntly.

In addition, the worried ER nurse predicts that her mother will either find out the truth or one day Brooks will abruptly become cured.

And when Vicki and Tamra go shopping for a pretty dress for Judge’s baptism, Gunvalson finally states what she’s apparently been thinking about the doubts she’s experienced from her Real Housewives friends.

“It’s Satanic. It’s Satan coming in to wreak havoc on our lives,” declared the RHOC star.

With the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion ahead, Andy Cohen dropped a few hints of what might happen during the RHOC reunion, reported the Daily Dish.

Cohen revealed that Brooks will attempt to respond to the many questions that the RHOC cast has raised during the reunion show. Moreover, Bravo producer John Hill and Andy termed the reunion to be exceptionally dramatic in a Real Housewives of Orange County season filled with controversy.

“I interviewed Brooks, which is going to be played during the reunion,” Cohen revealed. “You will [know about Brooks after that interview].”

But will Bravo’s producer actually give his view on whether or not Ayers is speaking the truth?

“I wouldn’t be surprised if [Brooks’ cancer diagnosis is] fake… if something is true, he wouldn’t be defending it like he is.”

Cohen also said that the revelations during the Real Housewives Of Orange County reunion impressed him.

“It was the most adult Orange County reunion that we’ve had in a few years… meaning there was not a ton of screaming.”

But Brooks also gave a few hints about the RHOC reunion and aftermath, as the Inquisitr reported.

Ayers revealed that the reunion will be the final occasion on which his ex-girlfriend must cope with the cancer questioning. He predicted that they’ll raise ruckus about something else next season.

However, Brooks also isn’t letting go of his legal battle with Meghan, and Ayers revealed that he sent her a letter from his lawyer after she challenged his claims.

Amid all the controversy, has Vicki lost many of her closest friends on the Real Housewives of Orange County?

Shannon Beador is among those going against Gunvalson, reported Radar Online.

And the RHOC cast has divided into teams, with the feud between Vicki and Shannon escalating.

“Shannon told her to get medical records because she was trying to be honest with her,” said an insider. “Instead of taking her advice, Vicki completely turned on her. Shannon has not changed her stance on this and Vicki knows the truth.”
