Jill Zarin In Car Crash As Her SciFi Film Debuts: Despite ‘Real Housewives’ Bethenny Frankel Feud, Could She Return?
Jill Zarin, famed as a former star on Real Housewives of New York, was in a three-car collision in New York City. Zarin was taken to a hospital. Her injuries were not detailed as of this writing, but Zarin was later allowed to return home to recover, reported Us Weekly.
“Jill Zarin was rushed by ambulance to the hospital where she was treated for unknown injuries and later release. Zarin is currently at home recuperating and no additional details are available at this time,” said a spokesperson for Jill Zarin.
Zarin was with her publicist in a car that was taking her to publicize her new movie. The sci-fi Night Of The Wild promotion had to wait after the 51-year-old reality TV star suddenly found herself in a car crash.
Lisa Wexler, Jill Zarin’s sister, tweeted about the accident and expressed her gratitude that Zarin was all right.
“My beautiful sis @Jillzarin TODAY at 5:30, thk G-d OK after car crash on FDR,” tweeted Lisa.
Jill Zarin has been using social media to promote her movie. On her website, Zarin notes that the sci-fi flick debuts on the Syfy channel on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 9 p.m. EST.
“I’m SO excited! My movie is coming out!” gushed Zarin. “PLEASE tune in, it is lots of fun.”
Zarin promised that she will live tweet the sci-fi film after it airs. Night Of The Wild tells the scary tale of the aftermath of a large meteor that suddenly lands in a quiet, little town. What happens next? Pet dogs change their personalities to become aggressive and attack, even kill, the residents of the formerly quiet town. Humans must battle their formerly sweet, loved pets.

Jill Zarin gave her Real Housewives insider report to Oprah Winfrey, reported the Huffington Post.
Zarin starred on The Real Housewives of New York City, one of the biggest dramas, featuring her ex-BFF Bethenny Frankel. Although so many were stunned when Jill Zarin was suddenly fired by Bravo, Zarin herself wasn’t shocked.
“This is what nobody knows. This is really the truth: One night… I think I took a sleeping pill and I typed out an email to my [‘Real Housewives’] producer and three out of the five housewives. I said, ‘I’m leaving the show. I want to leave on a high. I’m in a good place right now.'”
But, when Jill woke up the next morning, she wished she hadn’t emailed that resignation. It was too late for regretting the message, however.
“When I got the phone call from my production company, I knew,” admitted Zarin.
Jill Zarin still wishes she knew the truth about why she was fired, but says she appreciates the opportunity. Zarin says she loved the drama and feuding.
“I liked the fighting and the making up… Let’s be honest, I was perfectly suited for the show,” declared Jill Zarin.
Although Zarin says she feels she was a dream Real Housewife, her former BFF, Frankel, tells a different story, reported E News.
The Real Housewives of New York City star told Andy Cohen that she recalls hosting the Today show and discovering that Jill was jealous and thought they should have chosen her.
“When I got there, the first thing that was told to me by the producers was Jill called her and she lost her mind. ‘Why not me? I’m better than her,'” revealed Bethenny.
Moreover, Frankel reveals that Zarin constantly bugged her to go with Bethenny on gigs, such as Los Angeles shows.
“Listen, I’m not in a girl band,” Bethenny said, dismissing Jill.
