Xbox Live Compensates For Issues With Free Games And Discounts For Xbox One and Xbox 360

Xbox Live has been consistently delivering connection issues and outages ever since it was launched to Xbox units. To appease the growing anger of Xbox Live members over the outages, Xbox releases its monthly dose of free games and huge discounts.

With roughly three more days before the freebie week ends, this is your chance to get back at Xbox’ crappy server issues by taking advantage of the long list of games available at discounted prices, thanks to Xbox’ Spotlight Sale — not to mention Xbox Live’s monthly lineup of free games up for grabs through the Xbox Live Deals with Gold.

Free is such a nice price with this month’s Games with Gold deal for Xbox Live Gold members. For the whole month of October, Xbox 360 gamers will be able to grab Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and The Walking Dead; while Xbox One gamers will be able to enjoy Valiant Hearts: The Great War and also The Walking Dead.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be available for Xbox 360 for only a limited time, so this is the best time to grab it. Xbox 360 players can only access Metal Gear Solid V from October 1-15, which will be followed by The Walking Dead, available on Xbox 360 from October 16-31. Xbox One players will have more time on their hands to decide, with Valiant Hearts: The Great War running on Xbox Live from October 1-31 and The Walking Dead available on Xbox One consoles from October 16 to November 15.

Via the Games with Gold program, these two new games, in addition to the previous free titles, will be free to play via Xbox Live as long as you are an Xbox Live Gold member. The Xbox 360 titles through the Games with Gold program, however, will be kept on your hard drive forever, regardless of your membership status.
