Is this the image that Game Of Thrones fans have been waiting months to see? That’s because a picture of Kit Harington on the set of Game Of Thrones shooting a scene in Belfast has emerged, and it surely confirms that Jon Snow will return to the show. Or not. Actually, we’re not really sure.
Warning: Possible spoilers ahead!
The Daily Mail got their hands on the image, which appears to show the curly-haired actor discussing a particular scene with the director of the episode. You can check out the image that potentially reveals Jon Snow’s return below:
The scene in question was being shot on a remote hilltop in Northern Ireland, while you can see that Jon Snow looks pretty healthy as he stands tall with a sword on his hip. Meanwhile, there’s a hoard of crew around the actor as they prepare to start shooting, after what appears to have been a short break.
To add further fuel to the flames of this speculation there appears to be a woman underneath an umbrella in the photo. In fact, the woman in the picture looks remarkably like Carice Van Houten, who plays The Red Witch Lady Melisandre in Game Of Thrones. Many people believe that she possesses the ability to return the character of Jon Snow back to life. It’s still all speculation at the moment though, as it’s way too hard to tell if it is actually Van Houten.
Plus, we don’t even know if the man in the image is Kit Harington. It could just be another actor with a remarkably similar hairstyle, stance, and prevalence for wearing Game Of Thrones-style attire.
Meanwhile, even if it is Kit Harington in the image on set, the reason for his filming might be that he’s just filming a flashback scene.
Kit Harington has been spotted in Belfast, where Game Of Thrones is filmed, several times since his character Jon Snow appeared to die at the end of the fifth season at the hands of his fellow members of the Night’s Watch.
A few weeks ago, Kit Harrington added to speculation that he will be returning to the show by telling Humo, “Let’s just say that Game Of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while. I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over.”
