Brooks Ayers Reveals the Truth: Does He Have Cancer?
This season of The Real Housewives of Orange County has been full of drama about whether Brooks Ayers really has cancer or not. ET Online was able to talk to Brooks Ayers directly and get the truth about what is going on with his health. He has been dealing with a lot of criticism of people who think that Ayers is faking it all for attention. Ayers has shared the sad news that yes, he is battling cancer at this time.
According to the ET report, Brooks Ayers actually has Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which is a form of blood cancer. He is undergoing treatment for this condition and fighting it with all that he can regardless of what RHOC has made it look like this season. In October, Brooks has to head back to Los Angeles for more treatment.
Ayers is very adamant that he really does have cancer. He actually feels like the show enjoys manufactured drama and it looks like Brooks Ayers may have been a victim of said drama, because his battle is real. Meghan King Edmonds has been the one doubting Brooks Ayers’ cancer the most this entire season and she shared her thoughts with ET, as well.
“There’s a lot of questions that come up. I’m not the only one [who] has questions about it… I have major, major questions.”
At this time, Brooks Ayers seems to be feeling confident about what is going on with his health. Lately, he says he has been seeing improvements. The doctor that Brooks is seeing had battled this same disease 11 years ago, which implies he has a very good understanding of what is going on with him at this time.
Starpulse has reported that Brooks Ayers and Vicki Gunvalson have finally called it quits. The couple has been very on again and off again during Gunvalson’s time on RHOC. It turns out that Ayers broke up with her and moved to Florida to get away from the situation. He will be back in California next month for cancer treatments, but it doesn’t look like these two have plans to work out their relationship.
Gunvalson shared that the two might not be a couple anymore, but they still care about each other. Brooks Ayers and Vicki Gunvalson have plans to stay in touch.
