AMC Releases A Pile Of New Images For ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6

AMC have just released a spate of new images for the upcoming Season 6 of The Walking Dead. There are two galleries to see, one being black and white character images (or “Silver portraits” as named by AMC) and the other being a group of scenes.

In the huge black and white gallery, AMC have included images of the following Walking Dead characters: Deanna Monroe (played by Tovah Feldshuh), Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), Sasha Williams (Sonequa Martin-Green), Reverend Gabriel Stokes (Seth Gilliam), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Sergeant Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz), Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), Morgan Jones (Lennie James), Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan), Dr. Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos), Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs), Spencer Monroe (Austin Nichols), Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Jessie Anderson (Alexandra Breckenridge), and Tara Chambler (Alanna Masterson).

The second gallery of Walking Dead images show varying characters doing mostly ordinary things — with a twist. This gallery includes images of Daryl Dixon with a bloody hand, Sasha with a small horde of walkers behind her, Rick Grimes sitting on the porch of a house in Alexandria, and Carol washing a very wicked looking knife.

An earlier article by the Inquisitr examined this Walking Dead gallery in finer detail and can be viewed here. However, at that stage there were a few images that hadn’t been released. Firstly, an image of Carl and Rick Grimes sitting together on the porch of an Alexandrian house. They looked both relaxed yet alert as they peer off at something off camera. It is like they are patrolling the area, alert to a possible — and anticipated — danger.

The other new Walking Dead image not previously included is one of Sergeant Abraham Ford. This image is very similar to the one of Sasha, in that Abraham is looking away and not seemingly noticing an approaching group of walkers. he appears to be lost in thought as he rest his weapon between his legs. All of the images in this gallery appear to be cast in light that is fading, like night is approaching. Could this signify a threat will arrive at night? Only time will tell.

You can view both sets of new Walking Dead images for Season 6 in the gallery below.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC with Season 6 on Sunday, October 11, 2015.
