Kathryn Dennis Reveals Craig Conover’s Support Over Second Child With Thomas Ravenel, Whitney Sudler-Smith’s Mom Patricia Reacts To News
Kathryn Calhoun Dennis has the support of at least one of her Southern Charm co-stars when it comes to the news that she’s expecting another child with Thomas Ravenel. In an interview with the Daily Dish, posted on Thursday, Kathryn revealed that Craig Conover has even offered to babysit the child, a boy, after it’s born in December.
Kathryn said that Craig has been the only one who has really brought up the baby news.
“Well Craig has actually offered, and seems to be kind of into the whole baby fever thing. He’s the only one who’s really brought it up.”
Outside of Thomas, Craig is the only one on the cast with whom Kathryn has bonded, so it may be no surprise to viewers that the others have not reached out to Kathryn over the baby news. In one episode on Season 2, during the group’s trip to Georgia’s Jekyll Island, Kathryn angrily lashed out at Whitney Sudler-Smith for talking badly about her and questioning Craig’s friendship with her. Craig practically had to hold Kathryn back from attacking Whitney. The next morning, Craig revealed that he and Kathryn spent the night together on the beach, innocently sleeping next to one another because they couldn’t find their way back to the hotel, which led to some questioning looks from the rest of the cast.
On the Season 2 reunion show, Whitney accused Kathryn of purposefully getting pregnant with Thomas’ child in order to secure her role on the show. Kathryn and Thomas’ daughter, Kensington, was born in April 2014, prior to the filming of the show’s second season.
“I think what I found detestable is, I think, you wanted a baby to secure yourself on a reality show. And we all believe that. Yeah.”
While Whitney Sudler-Smith claimed that everyone on the cast believes it, Cameran Eubanks, Shep Rose, and Craig Conover pointed out that both Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Calhoun Dennis wanted a baby. Thomas, who battled with Kathryn at the reunion, even said that he’s taking a “mea culpa on that.”
Two weeks ago, Kathryn basically accused Whitney of being mentally disturbed and desperate for attention.

Whitney’s mother, Patricia Altschul, who has made jabs at Kathryn both on and off the air, has reacted to the news that she and Thomas are expecting another child. Patricia retweeted a viewer’s tweet that repeated Patricia’s description of Kathryn as a “shameless strumpet.”

Will fans get to see Kathryn Calhoun Dennis and Thomas Ravenel’s second child on a third season of Southern Charm? As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Shep Rose, in response to the news that the show has been canceled, recently said that nothing regarding the third season has been finalized yet.
