‘Mockingjay Part 2’ New Trailer Released: Watch What Happens To Katniss And Prim

Mockingjay Part 2, the final instalment in the Hunger Games franchise has a new trailer and its all about Katniss and Prim.

“A sister’s bond is forever. Witness the evolution of Katniss & Prim in #MockingjayPart2,” the film’s official Twitter account tweeted when they posted the new trailer.

If you’re a fan of the Hunger Games books and movies, you already know how important the relationship between Katniss and Prim is. In the first Hunger Games book and movie, Katniss volunteered as tribute to save her sister from being forced to compete.

As Katniss says in the trailer, “I never asked for this. I just wanted to save my sister.”

After Katniss survives, she returns home to find that Prim has matured beyond her years. By the time the credits roll on Mockingjay Part 1, both sisters have reunited in District 13 but still face a very uncertain future.

The trailer eloquently portrays how Katniss and Prim’s relationship has evolved with a special focus on Prim’s growing maturity.

“This November, her sacrifice is the ultimate tribute,” announces the clip.
