Whitney Bischoff Congratulates Jade Roper And Tanner Tolbert, Becca Tilley Sad Over Carly Waddell And Kirk DeWindt Split

Although her own relationship from reality TV didn’t last, Whitney Bischoff is still excited to watch another couple fall in love and get engaged on a TV show. On Monday night, Whitney congratulated Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert on their engagement.

Whitney said that she loves happy endings.

Whitney met Jade when they were both on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor. While Jade was sent home after her hometown date, Whitney made it all the way to the end. She and Chris got engaged in a barn in Iowa on the season finale. Unfortunately for their fans, in late May, about two months after their engagement aired, Whitney and Chris announced that their relationship was over.

Jade and Tanner’s fans are likely hoping that their engagement lasts and that they actually get married. On the Bachelor in Paradise season finale that aired on Monday night, Tanner and Jade, who became a couple right from the beginning of the spin-off show, took their relationship to the next level. Tanner told Jade that he loves her.

“Over the last week things have gotten even more real for me. And I love you, Jade, 100 percent. It’s crazy to think about because my mind is saying, ‘What the hell are you doing, Tanner? You haven’t known this person that long.’ But my heart is telling me that the feelings are real and I do love you.”

Jade told him that she loves him too.

“I feel misunderstood a lot. Other people don’t really get me and I feel like you totally do and it blows my mind because I’ve never felt like that. It’s really hard to say the words, but I love you too, Tanner.”

Later on, Tanner, presenting a Neil Lane designed engagement ring, asked Jade to marry him.

“I can’t give you this rose today. What we have is worth is so much more than a rose — than a million roses — I love you, Jade, and I want to keep on loving you for the rest of my entire life. Will you make me the happiest man on Earth and marry me?”

Jade said yes without hesitation.

While Jade Roper found happiness with Tanner Tolbert on Bachelor in Paradise, her friend Carly Waddell wasn’t so lucky. On part 1 of the season finale, Kirk DeWindt confessed to Carly that he wasn’t sure about their relationship, which caused her to say that she hated him and never ever wanted to see him again. Both Carly and Kirk left the show in tears. Becca Tilley, who also competed with Whitney, Jade and Carly for Chris Soules on The Bachelor, confessed that watching Carly experience such heartbreak was so sad.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Carly has said that she has forgiven Kirk for breaking her heart.

So far, Kaitlyn Bristowe, who was the third runner-up, behind Becca Tilley and Whitney Bischoff, on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor and later became the star of The Bachelorette, where she sent Tanner Tolbert home early on, has yet to react to the Bachelor in Paradise spin-off. On Sunday, Kaitlyn tweeted that she was on vacation with her fiance Shawn Booth.
