Since WrestleMania 31, WWE NXT has made a big impression on the main roster. Neville and the Lucha Dragons appeared on the WWE Raw after WrestleMania. Since their debuts, only Neville has had consistent success. As for the Lucha Dragons, they got lost in the tag-team shuffle. In the next few years, Kalisto will eventually break away and be a great singles competitor.
The Ascension also fell into low card-obscurity. They recently jobbed to Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose on WWE Raw two nights ago. There are rumors of Viktor and Connor joining Stardust. If so, that would establish them as quality players in the mid-card.
Due to the help of John Cena’s U.S. championship challenge, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens also made their debuts on the WWE main roster. Zayn sustained an injury, but Owens made a huge impact that included a huge victory against John Cena in his first match on the main roster. Then, the Divas Revolution happened and Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch are doing their best to keep women’s wrestling relevant.
A few WWE NXT stars that haven’t made the main roster are Bayley, Blake and Murphy, as well as Tyler Breeze. The interesting thing about Breeze is that he has had multiple-big matches in consecutive WWE NXT specials. According to Daily Wrestling News, Triple H has high hopes for Tyler Breeze, which includes a promotion to the main roster soon.
Triple H is reportedly looking to bring WWE NXT Superstar Tyler Breeze to the main roster before 2015 is over. They continue to use Breeze at main roster live events and in dark matches at TV tapings, and so far he’s been well received.
Breeze, who has been in developmental since 2010, had been upset with Kevin Owens getting fast-tracked to the NXT Title and the main roster a while back.
Breeze is arguably the most-underrated wrestler that WWE NXT has. His promo skills are top-notch, the WWE NXT officials trust him with huge matches and his wrestling acumen can’t be underestimated. It’s a conundrum that Breeze hasn’t been called up to the main roster. He has a WWE star that wants to feud with him as well.
Dolph Ziggler said previously that he wants to wrestle Tyler Breeze on the WWE main roster. Ziggler can’t go down to WWE NXT, or he’d be the most-over wrestler on the card each night. The promos couldn’t contain the charisma and the wrestling would also be top-notch. When Triple H calls up Breeze, the WWE Universe will finally discover who Prince Pretty really is.
