Mega Millions Winning Numbers September 8: Watch $95 Mil Jackpot Drawing Live

The Mega Millions jackpot for September 8 is a whopping $95 million — do you have the winning numbers? With no winners in the last 10 drawings, the jackpot will rise to over $100 million if no one matches all five numbers and the Mega Ball on Tuesday night.

Watch tonight’s Mega Millions drawing at 11 p.m. ET on your iPhone or Android device by downloading the free LotteryHUB app.

The winning Mega Millions numbers for September 8 are: 19-20-36-41-46 MB 7 Megaplier X3

According to Cleveland.com, no one matched the numbers drawn last Friday (17, 21, 39, 52, 57 MB 5), so the jackpot increased from $85 million to $95 million. One lottery player came very close to winning the jackpot on September 4, but ended up with $1 million instead after matching five white balls but not the Mega Ball.

There have been ten drawings with no jackpot winner. One lucky lottery player in Missouri won $25 million in the July 31 drawing, but since then it’s been all non-jackpot prize winners and no big winner. However, some of the non-jackpot prizes are nothing to complain about.

There are eight different ways to win a non-jackpot prize, with a $1 prize being the lowest (match just the Mega Ball) to a $1 million prize (match five white balls). According to the official Mega Millions site, players can multiply the amount of the non-jackpot prize by as much as five times by paying an extra $1 for the Megaplier option (not available in California).

If you win the $95 million Mega Millions jackpot tonight, you will receive 30 payments of approximately $3.2 million each (before taxes), with the first payment made immediately and future payments made once per year.

According to USA Mega, winners who choose a one-time lump sum payment instead of an annuity will receive the cash value of the jackpot ($58.8 million). Federal tax is immediately deducted from the payment. State taxes will also be taken from the jackpot amount unless you live in one of nine states that currently do not tax lottery winnings: California, Delaware, Florida, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming.

Of course, the odds are slim that you will win the jackpot — approximately 1 in 259 million — but it’s always fun to dream about what you would do with a Mega Millions jackpot windfall, isn’t it?

Mega Millions tickets are sold at lottery retailers in 44 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $1 each, with an additional $1 charged for the Megaplier option.
