‘Fear The Walking Dead’: Everything We Know So Far About The Remainder Of Season 1

AMC has started their latest zombie apocalypse series, Fear The Walking Dead, with a success. The very first episode alone managed to rake in over 10 million viewers, which made it the highest cable debut ever. As a result of this, fans are already going into overdrive with their speculation about how Season 1 will unfold. Fans are predicting who will die by the end of the season and many more are speculating over when a crossover will occur between Fear The Walking Dead and the companion series, The Walking Dead.

Now, with Episode 3 (entitled “The Dog”) of Fear The Walking Dead on hiatus because of the Labor Day weekend, fans are still in for a treat with three sneak peek videos into Episode 3 (entitled “The Dog”) which will screen on September 13. There is also Episode 3 and 4 synopses and some new pictures for fans to pore over. Let’s have a look at them as see what information we can find out about the remainder of Season 1 of Fear The Walking Dead.

WARNING: This article contains speculation and potential spoilers about AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead. Please proceed with caution if you have not watched all available episodes yet.

Episode Synopses And New Titles Announced

Both of these synopses are provided via TVGuide:

Episode 3 – “The Dog”

“After they escape a riot, Travis, Liza and Chris seek refuge with the Salazars; Madison defends her home.”

Episode 4 – “Not Fade Away”

“Madison and Travis witness different sides of the National Guard’s occupation of their neighborhood.”

The IMDb page for Fear The Walking Dead now also provides the episode titles for all of the episodes for Season 1. Episode 5 will be entitled “Colbalt”, which is interesting as this was the original concept title for Fear The Walking Dead. Episode 6 will be entitled “The Good Man.”

Sneak Peek #1

This video screened directly after Episode 2 (entitled “So Close, Yet So Far) aired on AMC. It shows the ongoing panic that is building in L.A. People are still not sure what they are dealing with, but already, the main characters are realizing the need to get away from the city until whatever it is blows over. Except, for Walking Dead fans, we know it won’t blow over at all, but get increasingly worse. Travis (played by Cliff Curtis) is separated from his girlfriend, Madison (Kim Dickens) and we discover that something is in Madison’s house. Will Travis escape the barber shop and get home in time to save Madison? Or is it Travis who has returned to the house and Madison just doesn’t realise it yet? You can also view this sneak peek video directly from the AMC Fear The Walking Dead website.

Sneak Peek #2

This sneak peek has been around for a while now and it is actually a very telling video if you know what to look at. As MoviePilot pointed out, Griselda Salazar (Patricia Reyes Spíndola) appears to be injured in the back of Travis’ truck. Travis’ ex wife, Liza (Elizabeth Rodriguez), who is a student nurse, is in the back with the Salazar’s rather than up front with Travis and their son Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie). After another close look at this Fear The Walking Dead sneak peek, you can actually see Liza supporting Griselda’s leg. While there is blood present, it is too hard to see if her leg is injured as a result of a zombie bite or perhaps some other injury. But considering Griselda is only listed for four episodes on Fear The Walking Dead’s IMDb page, it seems more likely she is bitten rather than injured.

Sneak Peek #3

This new Fear The Walking Dead video shows Madison at home with her children, Nick (Frank Dillane) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey). It seems Madison and Nick still haven’t spilled the beans on what they know about the apocalypse to Alicia. Nick seems to think it is a bad idea by not telling her, whereas Madison is intent on sheltering her daughter from all the bad in the world. There is a building sense of fear developing in this sneak peek of Episode 3 of Fear The Walking Dead, as the characters seem intent on staring out of windows and using flashlights to draw attention to themselves. Then a knocking sounds out on a window or door that they have covered with a curtain and Nick pulls back the cover to reveal… the end of the sneak peek video. Guess Walking Dead fans will just have to tune in next week to find out what the Clark’s see and whether it is the person — or thing — that breaks into the house that was revealed in the first sneak peek.

Finally, let’s wrap up what we know about Season 1 of Fear The Walking Dead with the latest pictures released by AMC. So far only images for Episode 3 have been released.

Episode 3 of Fear The Walking Dead will premiere next Sunday night on AMC.
