According to Mass Live, there hasn’t been a jackpot winner since one lucky ticket holder won $25 million on July 31. However, even without a grand prize winner there are millions of people who win non-jackpot prizes each week.

In the last drawing on September 1, no one matched all six numbers (2, 5, 35, 40, 54 MB 13 MP x5) but there were more than 1.2 million ticket holders who won anywhere from $1 to $5,000. If you’re lucky enough to win tonight’s $85 million Mega Millions jackpot, you will receive a one-time payment based on the cash value of the jackpot — $52.4 million. Before a check is issued, both federal (approximately 25 percent) and state taxes will be deducted from the prize.
