Cynthia Bailey and her co-star, Porsha Williams, were reportedly involved in a physical altercation while filming the upcoming eighth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. While some fans have worried about the show’s future after NeNe Leakes announced her exit weeks ago, the drama has continued — and in a major way.
On September 1, Cynthia Bailey’s alleged fight with Williams was reported by TMZ.
“The [two] women began arguing about nothing and Porsha started calling [Cynthia Bailey] a b***h. Cynthia tried to disengage, walking to the other side of the boat, but in true form Porsha followed. Porsha got in Cynthia’s face, and that’s when Cynthia exercised self-defense, kicking Porsha in the stomach. Producers came in before Porsha could react and restrained her.”
According to the report, Williams went to the hospital after her fight with Cynthia Bailey, and was reportedly prescribed pain medication for her injuries. Although it is unclear whether or not Williams’ hospital visit will be included in Season 8, TMZ claimed the fight between Williams and Cynthia Bailey was captured for the show.
As fans will recall, Williams’ fight with Cynthia Bailey isn’t her first caught-on-camera altercation. Years ago, while filming a Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, she and Kenya Moore were involved in a fight.
Cynthia Bailey and Williams have been at odds before. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Williams referred to Cynthia Bailey as “insecure,” and alleged her husband, Peter Thomas, was taking advantage of her finances earlier this year.
“[Cynthia Bailey] and her situation where she’s got a man taking advantage of her cash money flow — honey, she is dry as the desert when it comes to him — so he’s using her. She’s upset, she’s insecure,” Williams said of Cynthia Bailey, according to a February, 2015, report by Wetpaint Entertainment.
At the same time, she bashed Cynthia Bailey and her husband, Williams, commented on her other co-stars, Claudia Jordan and Kenya Moore, whom she was far from impressed with. Below are her allegations against the women.
“You have Claudia and Kenya, two women who have had their legs spread from here to there and don’t have nothing to show for it at this point. They don’t have a career, they don’t have businesses.”
So far, no word yet on when Cynthia Bailey and the rest of the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will return to Bravo for Season 8.
