Kim Richards Offered A Chance To Return To TV? Kyle Isn’t On Board [Report]

Kim Richards has reportedly been offered a chance at returning to reality television after allegedly being fired from Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, according to a new report, Kim Richards’ sister, Kyle, and a few other family members don’t feel it is in Kim Richards’ best interest to return to the spotlight.

On August 31, a source revealed the following to Radar Online.

“[Kim Richards] wasn’t interested in the concept, or what she would be doing, but needed to earn a paycheck. She approached her kids about the proposal, and asked them to reach out to Kyle, because they aren’t talking.”

According to the report, Kim Richards was being courted by VH1 for their new reality series, Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn. The series follows a number of celebrities, including Briana Dejesus of MTV’s Teen Mom 3 and her sister, Brittany, Lindsay Lohan’s divorced parents, Dina and Michael Lohan, and Bam Margera, of MTV’s Viva La Bam, and his mother, April. VH1 also announced “New York” of Flavor of Love, also known as Tiffany Pollard, would be appearing on the show with her mother.

“The kids and Kyle all said no way. It’s not because they don’t want to help [Kim Richards], but they felt she needed to go to rehab. If Kim had already successfully completed treatment, and was in a good place to begin truly working on relationships with the family, that would be a different story.”

Kim Richards suffered an alcohol relapse earlier this year after a couple of years of sobriety, and ever since, she has been struggling to get back to her normal routine and clean living. Most recently, Kim Richards was arrested at a Target store in Van Nuys, California, after reportedly stealing over $600 worth of merchandise. Months prior, Kim Richards was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she was charged with public intoxication, resisting an officer, battery on an officer, and trespassing.

“Her family refuses to allow [Kim Richards] to live with them because she is in denial about the addiction. They will no longer be enablers to Kim’s whims.”

Everyone is “worried about [Kim Richards], but until she agrees to get help, there is nothing they can do,” Radar Online’s insider added.

Kim Richards currently has two pending cases against her, and at this point, it is unclear where she is living as she awaits her upcoming court dates.
