‘Dancing With The Stars’ Rumors: Andy Grammer Joins Cast, Actress Jodie Sweetin Out

Dancing with the Stars casting rumors are swirling ahead of the official Season 21 announcement, and a new name has been brought to the dance floor. According to Hollywood Life, singer Andy Grammer will be competing on the show this fall, taking the place of actress Jodie Sweetin. The report indicates that Sweetin had conflicts because of her Fuller House filming schedule.

It is unclear if another female contender will be brought on or how this worked as far as the pros go, but this is what’s being reported at this time. If the latest rumor is true, Grammer will have some stiff competition.

“Insiders have also revealed to us that Paula Deen and Kim Zolciak are also joining the cast. Bindi Irwin, Triple Crown-winning jockey Victor Espinoza, Backstreet Boy and ’90s hunk Nick Carter, Vine star Hayes Grier, husband and wife Alexa and Carlos PenaVega and legendary singer Chaka Khan have been officially announced,” reports Hollywood Life.

Dancing with the Stars casting rumors have included Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Scott Disick and Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe.

According to Hollywood Take, however, Bristowe will not be joining the cast. She is still enjoying public life with fiance, Shawn Booth, and reportedly doesn’t have the time to do the show.

“The timing isn’t right, but she loves the show and hopes to keep the door open for another season down the road,” shared a source.

Caitlyn Jenner was another name that was floating around, but sources close to the reality star say that she is too busy filming I Am Cait to commit.

Other names floating around include Shay Mitchell from Pretty Little Liars and Kacy Catanzaro from American Ninja Warrior.

ABC has already announced which pro dancers will be back to compete this season, but will not make any comments on the celebrity rumors until the big reveal on September 2. All of the dancers and their partners are expected to be on Good Morning America for the official announcement. ABC has confirmed only seven names so far (Espinoza, Carter, Irwin, Khan, Grier, and Mr.and Mrs. PenaVega), and seem to be trying to keep the rest under wraps until next Wednesday.

Who would you like to see compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy? Do you think this season’s cast is shaping up to be good so far? Are you excited that Andy Grammer has (unofficially) been added to the cast?
