All eyes were on London’s Leicester Square today for the world premiere of Snow White and The Huntsman .

Braving the freezing cold and overcast skies, Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Clafin – and eight ‘dwarves’ came to dazzle – and dazzle they did.

Rupert Sanders, who makes his directorial debut in this highly anticipated movie, described the filmmaking experience and the premiere as a “dream come true”.

And the scene at Leicester Square certainly looked like a dream. Universal went all out and transformed the usual red carpet into a green, ‘enchanted forest’, complete with giant mushrooms.

Hundreds of fans – many of whom camped out overnight – and the world’s press, thronged the square as the the stars of SWATH film spent time with fans and posed for photographs.

Kristen Stewart dazzled in an exquisite, lace Marchesa gown with gold detail in her up-do, while Charlize Theron was equally daring in sheer black Dior.

Despite the grim weather, the atmosphere at the premiere was electric, and there were some great on-site interviews too.

Theron, (Queen Ravenna), smiling beatifically, described her character’s actions as “justified” when looked at in context, adding, “no-one’s born evil.”

Hemsworth (the Huntsman) joked around about waiting for an “apology” from Kristen Stewart for hitting him on set.

Stewart’s (Snow White) comeback afterwards? “He’s a cry-baby that’s it.” The actress did change into Nikes on the red carpet, but seeing as she is still nursing a puncture wound that’s allowed right?

The eight dwarves, Ray Winstone, comedic actor Nick Frost, Bob Hoskins, Brian Gleeson, Ian McShane, Eddie Marsan, Toby Jones, and Bob Hoskins – also came out to play.

And at the after party, one guest in particular – Robert Pattinson – was undoubtedly proud of how fantastically Kristen Stewart handled her first post- Twilight premiere.
