Caroline Manzo Hasn’t Spoken To Teresa Giudice Since She Entered Prison

Caroline Manzo appeared on an episode of Andy Cohen’s late-night show, Watch What Happens Live, on August 17, where she discussed her relationship with her former Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star, Teresa Giudice.

According to a Radar Online report on August 18, Caroline Manzo was asked if she had spoken to Giudice since she entered prison on January 5.

“That would be difficult to do, because you have to be on a special list in order to have correspondence with her,” Caroline Manzo responded.

“And she would not have accepted you …” Cohen speculated.

“And I would not have asked either,” Caroline Manzo answered.

Radar Online went on to reveal that Caroline Manzo had previously claimed Giudice “would not have been” invited to her daughter’s, Lauren’s, July, 2015, wedding, even if she weren’t incarcerated at the time of the affair.

“We were not friends,” Caroline Manzo explained.

Caroline Manzo starred alongside Giudice for the first five seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. During their time together on the show, both Caroline Manzo and Giudice starred as full-time housewives, but while they started out friendly, they were estranged by the time Season 5 came to an end. After it did, Caroline Manzo moved on to her own series, Manzo’d With Children. Caroline Manzo’s spinoff features her family, as well as her New Jersey restaurant, The Brownstone, and is currently airing its second season.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Caroline Manzo’s show was officially announced for a second season in July. At the time, Broadway World released a description of what fans could expect to see during Season 2.

“It’s a season of change for this Garden State clan as each member takes a step towards independence, leaving [Caroline Manzo] to find out if she has succeeded in her beloved role as the Manzo Matriach. As Lauren prepares to wed fiancé Vito, [Caroline Manzo] and Al cope with the feeling of losing their only daughter and wonder if she is ready to face a new life without daddy’s credit cards.”

While Giudice is expected to return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey when the series begins filming later this year, Caroline Manzo will not. Although there have been rumors regarding her potential return to the series, neither Caroline Manzo nor Bravo has confirmed any such news.
