Dan Cox Calls Ashley Salter An ‘Amazing Person,’ Amber James Tells Viewers To Stop Cyber Bullying Samantha Steffen

Dan Cox didn’t have a lasting love connection with Ashley Salter on Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t still think very highly of her. As the latest episode aired on Tuesday night, Dan praised Ashley on social media.

Dan tweeted that Ashley is an “amazing person” and that he wishes her nothing but the best.

Dan and Ashley coupled up immediately upon arriving to paradise. Yet Monday night’s episode showed Dan telling Ashley that he didn’t see a romantic future for them. Not surprisingly, the breakup left Ashley feeling hurt and angry. Tuesday night’s episode shows Ashley perking up when she saw her friend Amber James arrive to the scene. Ashley described Amber, whom she competed with for Chris Soules on The Bachelor, as the most “pure-hearted” and “innocent” person. Yet Ashley’s feelings turned sour once Amber used her date card to ask Dan out. While Dan talked to Ashley in an attempt to smooth things over before accepting Amber’s date request, Ashley just got more upset.

Dan Cox and Ashley James ended up going on their date, which involved a romantic evening in Puerto Vallarta and several kisses. Dan, trying to keep Ashley Salter’s feelings in consideration, told Amber that he would back off from her if their continual relationship was creating “tension” between her and Ashley. Amber reassured Dan that it wouldn’t be a problem.

While things seem to be going well for Dan and Amber now, viewers may see it turn sour next week. Amber teased that viewers may see tears on next week’s episode. Perhaps there will be drama with Ashley Salter?

Amber also defended her friend Samantha Steffen, with whom she watched Tuesday night’s episode with.

Samantha has received a lot of viewer criticism over her involvement with Joe Bailey and treatment of Juelia Kinney. Tuesday night’s episode suggested that Samantha and Joe, prior to the filming of the show, plotted together to couple up and stay on the show for as long as possible. The episode also made it seem as if Samantha didn’t care about how Joe treated Juelia, her so called friend, and was dismissive of Juelia.

Amber revealed that Samantha was crying as the episode aired, apparently from all the nasty tweets that she was receiving from viewers. Amber pointed out that Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe made a big point about cyber bullying during her season.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Samantha Steffen has apologized to Juelia Kinney and expressed regret over her involvement with Joe Bailey on Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise.
