‘Real Housewives’ Star Vicki Gunvalson ‘Ruined’ Brooks Ayers’ Life?

Real Housewives star Vicki Gunvalson announced her split from Brooks Ayers yesterday, and already, the Real Housewives star is being accused of “ruining” his life. While the former Real Housewives couple’s joint breakup statement appeared to hint that things were civil between them, a new report claims otherwise.

“Brooks felt that Vicki really became a totally different person that she was when they started,” an insider told Radar Online on August 17. “He said that everything about her has changed, and not in a good way.”

On The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10, things between Gunvalson and her former boyfriend appear to be going great. As Ayers battles stage 3 Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Gunvalson is at his side, seemingly being the supportive girlfriend he needs and continuing to fight back against claims of a potentially fake diagnosis by her co-stars. Meanwhile, months after filming wrapped, the Real Housewives couple have split, and Ayers has reportedly already left Southern California and headed back to his hometown.

“He’s telling friends she ruined his life.”

According to the Radar Online source, the Real Housewives star changed once she gained fame. Although she’s always been able to make her own money, which reportedly was attractive to Ayers, her Real Housewives fortune had a “huge impact” on who she was as a person.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Real Housewives star shared the news of her breakup from Ayers on Facebook on Sunday afternoon. Below is the former Real Housewives couple’s joint statement, via Gunvalson.

“After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship. We both wish nothing but a great future for each other. We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths. Though the remaining episodes of Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County will show us as a couple, the filming took place in January 2015 through May 2015. There will be no further statements or interviews regarding our relationship as we choose to move on with our lives. Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye we thank you for your understanding and ask privacy during this difficult time.”
