‘Big Brother 17’ Spoilers: Week 8 Power Of Veto Ceremony Held, Nominees For Eviction Revealed

Fans can start planning for the next eviction on Week 8 of Big Brother 17. Spoilers have revealed the two houseguests sitting on the block now that the Power of Veto ceremony has been held. Though there is time for plans to change, it’s looking like this next eviction is already fairly set. What’s the latest?

As viewers saw in Sunday night’s show, Liz Nolan is the Head of Household for Week 8, and she chose to nominate Becky Burgess and John McGuire. These were not surprising nominations, but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be some drama in the house this week.

Big Brother 17 spoilers from the weekend live feeds indicated that Vanessa Rousso had once again ended up with a target on her back after some serious pot-stirring. However, much as everybody saw in Week 7, Rousso may well have already maneuvered herself out of danger.

The Power of Veto competition was held on Saturday, and Big Brother 17 spoilers from BuddyTV revealed that Liz won that honor. This was the traditional “OTEV” competition, and it came down to Austin and Liz as the final two.

Liz indicated that she would be keeping the nominations the same, but Vanessa was scrambling anyway. She wants Becky out, but will the house go along with this plan? So far, Austin and the group did seem to be leaning that way heading into the POV ceremony.

According to Big Brother Network, Liz followed through with her plan to leave the nominations in place. Johnny Mac and Becky remain on the block, giving Vanessa some room to breathe once again. Though Austin and the twins had discussed whether it was time to target Vanessa, ultimately they decided to hold off a week on that.

At this point, Becky is definitely the nominee in the most danger of eviction. For the moment, Johnny Mac is safe in terms of votes, but there are several days yet where things can twist and turn. That’s certainly how things played out in Week 7, so fans will have to stay tuned for more Big Brother 17 spoilers related to the Week 8 eviction.

Can Becky Burgess find a way to save herself this week, or is she headed to the jury? Will Austin and the twins be able to maintain control of the house with their alliance and target Vanessa next week as they’ve discussed? Fans will need to stay tuned for more Big Brother 17 spoilers as the week continues, and the Week 8 eviction draws near.
