Brandi Glanville is staying positive about her former co-star, Kim Richards. During an August 16 interview with Us Weekly, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star spoke of her longtime friend, claiming once she conquers her addiction issues, she’ll be “fine.”
“I’ve been in contact with Kim. Not in the last week, but definitely, I’ve had her at my home. I had her stay. I love her to pieces and she’s got such a great soul. She’s so smart, and she’s so vibrant… She just has to get rid of this sickness, and then she’ll be fine.”
Brandi Glanville’s former co-star has been making headlines for months in regard to her recent sobriety issues, which include a number of relapses, as well as two arrests. In April, news of Richards’ public intoxication arrest hit the web, shocking fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. At the time, Richards was accused of becoming drunk at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she allegedly kicked a police officer who was attempting to arrest her. Months later, as Brandi Glanville and the rest of the cast begun filming the sixth season of the Bravo reality show, Richards was arrested for a second time and charged with petty theft after reportedly shoplifting at a Target store in Van Nuys, California.
Although Brandi Glanville will be returning to the show for Season 6, she will not be seen in a full-time role. Instead, she’ll be making guest appearances.
Also rumored to have taken on a part-time role on the show is Brandi Glanville’s friend, Yolanda Foster, who, as the Inquisitr previously reported, has continued to battle Lyme disease since her 2012 diagnosis. Most recently, Brandi Glanville’s co-star underwent a breast implant removal surgery in Cleveland, after doctors discovered one of her 20-year-old breast implants had been leaking.
During her Us Weekly interview, Brandi Glanville offered the following health update regarding Foster.
“I’m friends with Yolanda [Foster], and Yolanda and I were texting this morning, and she’s come out of surgery to take her implants out and she said she thinks she’s turned a corner and she’s doing well. So I’m happy to hear that because she’s very — we’re like very blunt with each other. She’s a sister to me, always.”
