Tori Kelly, Legendary Pro Skater Ryan Sheckler Countdown To Justin Bieber’s New Single

Tori Kelly and legendary pro skateboarder Ryan “Shecks” Sheckler are the latest names to co-sign Justin Bieber’s celebrity-assisted countdown to the release of his upcoming single, “What Do You Mean,” on August 28.

On Monday morning, after noting the 11 days until the song’s release in a cover art post, Justin tweeted and Instagrammed a video of superb songstress Tori Kelly, then a snap of Ryan Sheckler.

Alongside the video, Justin wrote, “Thanks @torikelly. Love her voice so asked her to sing a little. Tori why do you never miss a note??! ) What Do You Mean in #11Days.”

The heartthrob and Kelly share a mutual manager, Scooter Braun, and the Biebs has been a strong supporter of her work.

Next up on the promo trail was MTV’s Life of Ryan star Sheckler, multiple time X-Games champion, who was listed in Fox Weekly‘s “Top 15 Most Influential Skateboarders of All-Time” compilation last year and created the Sheckler Foundation, that assists children and injured/recovering athletes.

The Biebs shared a photo of Sheckler, 25, holding a skateboard chalk-marked with the 11 days to the song’s rollout. The Canadian superstar’s caption read, “What Do You Mean? @shecks #11Days.”

Ever since Justin hit up On Air With Ryan Seacrest last month to announce his new, “up-tempo,” “summery” single and kick off his 30-day celebrity-packed countdown, it’s been interesting seeing who turns up in the diverse roll call.

With stars including James Corden, Mariah Carey, Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, Shaquille O’Neal, Fifth Harmony, Luke Bryan, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, CL, Alanis Morissette, Little Mix, Ashley Benson, Tony Hawk, Christina Perri, professional wrestler Dylan Bostic, Hilary Duff, Twenty One Pilots, Kelly, and Sheckler enlisted, it looks like Team Bieber are keen to not only reach Justin’s traditional, teen female fanbase, but also other age groups and fans from a variety of music genres with the “What Do You Mean” countdown.

Even Charlie “See You Again” Puth has endorsed the Biebs’ upcoming jam.

In other Justin Bieber news, Billboard reports multiple sources confirm the singer is set to release his insanely anticipated new album on November 13. “What Do You Mean” is the lead single from the Skrillex-produced record.

In addition, Hits Daily Double hinted, and another source reported, that the Biebs will perform “What Do You Mean” live at MTV’s Video Music Awards on August 30.

The Miley Cyrus-hosted music and pop culture event will air from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, two days after the 21-year-old’s imminent single “What Do You Mean” drops, so the VMAs would be a perfect promotional tie-in.

Meanwhile, noting today as day 11, check out some of the snaps of celebrities involved in the Biebs’ ongoing countdown to “What Do You Mean.”
