Taylor Swift And Calvin Harris Making Engagement, Wedding, And Baby Plans [Rumors]
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have only been dating for a few months, but their relationship is still going strong. Now it looks like the couple has weddings and babies on the brain. Several new reports claim that Taylor wants to settle down with her Scottish boyfriend — and as soon as possible!
Taylor Swift, 25, may have a successful album, and a sold-out world tour, but she’s ready to slow down her career to have her boyfriend’s babies. According to several media outlets, the singer is ready to have children with Harris, but she insists that they walk down the aisle first. Although nothing has been confirmed as of yet, Swift knows for sure that she wants to get married and have children with her 31-year-old boyfriend.
An inside source told the Hollywood Life that Taylor had given up on love until she met Calvin through her friends.
“She went through this stage for a couple of years where she’d given up on getting married and having a family…She felt like it just wasn’t in the cards for her. But that was just because she didn’t think she could have it all. Falling in love with Calvin has made her believe it’s possible. She’s back to talking about having kids again, she wants to have a bunch of kids with Calvin.”
Swift previously told Vanity Fair that she took a break from relationships for a year. Instead of focusing on dating, she shifted her focus on strengthening her relationships with her female friends.
“What ended up happening was I became happier than I had ever been before. I swore I would never ever get in another relationship if it meant changing who I was, or taking me out of that mode where my friends are everything to me.”
Maybe the “Summer” DJ is an exception since she found love. Now, it looks like she’s finding happiness with Harris, which is one of the reasons why she has babies on the brain.
A new report in the August 24 issue of Life & Style claims that Taylor isn’t the only one who wants to start having babies. Calvin is totally down with the idea as well.
“Calvin is excited too…[They] are hoping for a boy first and then a little girl, and they are already talking about names.”
The insider also added that Swift wants Harris to put a ring on it before she has a bun in the oven. Swift may be forward-thinking when it comes to talking about feminism and the LGBT community, but she’s old-fashioned when it comes to relationships.
“Taylor says it’s a very 1950s way of doing things, but that’s what she wants. Calvin and Taylor are looking at a wedding in 2016 and kids by 2017.”
What does the singer-songwriter suddenly have babies on the brain? Taylor has been spending a lot of time with her friend, Jaime King, and her godson, Leo Thames. The singer also revealed that one of her closest friends is getting married soon, which is probably why she doesn’t want to feel left out.
“She’s got baby fever and wants at least two kids by the time she’s 30. Calvin and Taylor talk about it all the time and are always joking about weird Hollywood baby names and how their kids will be freakishly tall like them. They can’t wait!”
Swift is in a hurry to speed up the wedding process, as soon as possible. Harris doesn’t mind since he believes that his hit-making girlfriend will make the perfect wife and mother to their future children.
“Taylor is super excited to start a family with Calvin and even has their nurseries all planned out. Calvin is excited, too. He sees how great she is around babies like her godson.”
