Sofia Vergara, the world’s most desirable woman , is back on the market. The “Modern Family” actress has reportedly split from her boyfriend Nick Loeb after spending more than two years together.
An source close to the couple told the NY Post that Vergara and Loeb decided to end their relationship after a series of arguments last weekend. On Monday, Vergara appeared at the Met Ball alone.
The source said:
“Sofia was confiding in friends at the ball that she and Nick have split. They have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times. It is not yet clear if they are over for good, but they are done as a couple for now.”
The Post notes that Loeb’s absence from the ball was odd since he lives in New York. Vergara also reportedly got ready for the ball at her hotel and not at Loeb’s apartment.
Access Hollywood reports that Vergara’s relationship with Loeb has been on the rocks for the last few months. Vergara’s rising fame apparently created tension between the couple which spilled over last weekend.
Last month the couple was spotted at an East Side New York restaurant. A source said:
“She looked miserable. Sofia looked beautiful, but she did not seem happy with him at all.”
