Megyn Kelly’s Vacation Causes Suspension Speculation
Was Fox News reporter Megyn Kelly suspended? That’s what fans and so-called haters of hers think, because she is now on vacation. The vacation announcement came soon after the controversy surrounding the beef between her and presidential contender Donald Trump. MRC News reports that social media is lighting up with speculation in light of the anchor’s announcement (a Fox News rep has since confirmed to the Inquisitr’s editorial department that the vacation was long-planned).
Kelly has had a rough couple of weeks since the GOP debates that aired more than a week ago. That’s because she reportedly asked the presidential contender a series of “tough, but fair” questions. The Daily Mail reports that the host of The Kelly Filerefuses to back down. She even referred to Trump, indirectly, as a “stupid moron.”

Interested parties wondered if Megyn Kelly could have been temporarily suspended from her post at Fox News. Her position has attracted her a world of hate from supporters of Trump, including rocker Ted Nugent. The “Cat Scratch Fever” singer made comments that shocked the media, about loading his gun — while naked — as he watches her show. These comments came on the heels of reports that Kelly was getting death threats.
Kelly’s break is only lasting 1.5 weeks; this gives social media plenty of time to dream up a host of conspiracy theories about the big wigs at Fox News.
Had she been suspended, Megyn Kelly certainly wouldn’t have been the first. Famed anchor Keith Olbermann has been suspended multiple times, and from multiple networks. One of his most high profile suspensions came from the hands of MSNBC execs, who took issue with him donating funds to Democratic candidates. He has also recently been suspended from ESPN. NBC News has also suspended anchor Brian Williams over presumed lies he told over the course of his career.
