George Clooney’s Wife Amal Owning The Spotlight, Finds Her Way Onto Best Dressed List Alongside Taylor Swift
The girl has got style, we can all agree, and now George Clooney’s wife Amal has found herself highly ranked on Vanity Fair’s best dressed list for 2015 to prove it. Although the beautiful human rights lawyer did not come out on top of the list, Amal Clooney earned herself a very respectable spot at No. 5.
Since she and George made the temporary move to New York City, the raven-haired beauty has been the talk of the town and continuously been turning heads in her designer duds and tasteful ensembles. Glamour Magazine sums up Amal’s consistently appealing choices of couture.
“Whether she’s rocking a pink tweed Oscar de la Renta co-ord, or a beautiful satin gown for the red carpet, she’s always top of the class.”
Those who found themselves ranking above Clooney on the publication’s best dressed list included Samantha Cameron, Taylor Swift, Misty Copeland, and the Countess of Wessex. However, the graceful femme who found George Clooney’s heart outranked some well-known belles in regards to wardrobe and spot-on style, including Rihanna, Queen Letizia of Spain, Mellody Hobson, and Francesca Amfitheatrof.
Vanity Fair listed Amal’s favorite designers as an aside in order for fans and followers to attempt to capture her seemingly effortless style. UPI relays the helpful bit of information for fashion lovers.
“Vanity Fair listed Giambattista Valli, Dolce & Gabbana, Stella MacCartney and Alexander McQuenn as Clooney’s favorite designers, and named the red Maison Margiela gown she wore to the Met Gala as her Notable Ensemble of 2015.”
George’s better half is entirely fashion-savvy and impeccable with her choices of garments. However Amal did face criticism for her choice wear at the Golden Globes recently. We’ll let that one slide, of course.
So, it seems that Mrs. Clooney has swept onto the arm of George and into the spotlight, while maintaining her post as a notable and intelligent barrister. Amal’s days may soon become even more hectic, as reports are rampant that she will be replacing Donald Trump as the host of the long-running reality show The Apprentice. A source recently spoke with Express UK as to reasons for NBC’s consideration of Amal for the gig on their network.
“As well as the cachet of being married to George, she is also a highly respected figure in her field. Since she rarely says anything in public, there is still something of an air of mystery to her. We think she could be a perfect fit.”
In addition, there has been reports that the Clooneys’ good friend, Cindy Crawford, may also be casting Amal for a cameo in her upcoming reality show Icon, which sheds light on the difficulties faced within top-notch modelling agencies.
