We unexpectedly got a Star Wars: The Force Awakens first TV spot on Monday morning and the good news is that it contains footage we have not seen before.
Usually, these things are planned, and we know with some advance warning when they are coming out. However, the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens first TV spot has taken everyone by surprise. Not that it’s a bad thing as fans can’t get enough of all things related to the new Star Wars movie.
The excitement continues for the fandom, following the release of the Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One photo set over the weekend. If you were pumped to see that, then the Star Wars: The Force Awakens first TV spot is more than welcome.
According to Forbes, the new clip unexpectedly showed up in the Star Wars South Korea YouTube channel on Monday. We must point out that since there is no dialogue, we don’t have to deal with awful international dubbing, so we can just enjoy the images.
But the most exciting part is that we get some never-before-seen footage for the much anticipated Star Wars Episode 7. Even though it only lasts 30 precious seconds, the new images doesn’t really give anything away concerning the plot, which should make director J.J. Abrams happy, since he’s as secretive as they come concerning story details..
There are no spoilers to speak of and 90 percent of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV spot comes from the first trailer released on Thanksgiving Friday of last year. We don’t get to see original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher, but much like that first, exciting trailer, we see the now famous scene of Daisy Ridley (Rey) and John Boyega (Finn) escaping big explosions, and Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) flying his X-Wing.
All things we have already seen. However, it was wonderful to watch a few new images on this new Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV spot.
As autumn nears, fans are eagerly awaiting all the promotional mayhem that will come with the release of the new Star Wars movie on December 18. Hopefully, Disney and Lucasfilm will bring us cool character posters, but whatever the case, we couldn’t be more excited for this Star Wars: The Force Awakens first TV spot. Take a look and tell us what you think.
